mimaru is just a short 5-minute walk from ueno station, making it super easy for our family to explore. the spacious apartment was perfect for us, with a nice kitchen area for quick meals. the staff were incredibly polite and attended to our needs without hesitation. the kids loved ueno park, especially the zoo!

Families will love it

Our kids were all over the bunk beds, even begging to have some in our home. Staff were so helpful, even the night guy tried hard to help us with an iron request and couldn't speak much English. We were able to cook simple meals in the room which helped keep the kids satisfied and stopped the usual crying when they get hungry at late hours and you know how that goes.

It wasn't exactly inexpensive but given the space and amenities, it was just fine.

The air conditioning was erratic, making for uncomfortable nights!!! The TV had no channels, and the kettle boiled water excruciatingly slowly!!! Free water wasn't provided, which felt somewhat stingy!!! The location isn't as central as expected, making exploring less convenient!!!
