We had an amazing experience at Miyajima Grand Hotel Arimoto. The value for money was well worth it, with beautiful and spacious rooms that had a stunning view of the sea and Tori gate. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the Itsukushima Shrine and other shops. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going so far as to reach out before our stay to cater to our food allergies. They made sure our every need was taken care of, making our stay even more enjoyable.

Breakfast delights us, but it would have been better if there were more options available. It would be great if the hotel could advise guests to book in advance, as breakfast spots were limited in the morning.

Japanese cuisine was served in a contemporary setting, because nothing says "authentic" like minimalist decor and an LCD TV. The separate hot spring bath was a real treat too.

Because who brings kids to a hotel, right?

miyajima grand hotel arimoto is simply amazing. the food is spectacular, exceeding all expectations. the staff is helpful and attentive, even going the extra mile for families. the onsen is a heavenly experience. perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beauty of miyajima.

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the main attractions, such as the famous floating tori gate and Itsukushima Shrine. The hotel's reception area overlooks a beautiful garden, and there is a regular restaurant, a huge souvenir shop, and public baths available for guests to use. The rooms offer a stunning view of the mountains, and the staff provide excellent service. Guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast in the morning and take advantage of the various facilities and room advantages, as mentioned in other reviews.

One small drawback mentioned in a review was that the water in the indoor shower or bath took a while to warm up and even after letting it run for a long time, it only became slightly less cold.

From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the charm and beauty of this hotel. The scenic ferry ride followed by a quaint bus trip up the mountains added to the sense of adventure. Despite our early arrival, the front desk staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, even providing refreshing drinks while we waited. Our traditional tatami room had a breathtaking view of the Torrii Gate, and although the furniture was a bit worn, it added to the charm. The included Kaiseki dinner was a culinary delight, and the generous western-style breakfast left us satisfied. The proximity to the Itsukushima Shrine made exploring a breeze. While there were a few minor drawbacks, such as the outdated lobby, overall I would highly recommend this hotel for an unforgettable stay.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The location is fantastic, right in the town centre and just behind the most famous temple in the island. The views from here are absolutely breathtaking, overlooking Itsukushima Shrine bay. The service provided by the staff was impeccable, they really went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The room amenities were top-notch, with everything we needed from heating to air conditioning to an in-room safe. The on-site dining options were great, offering a variety of delicious meals. The hotel also had a range of leisure facilities including a jacuzzi and a beautiful garden area. The free shuttle service provided by the hotel was a bonus, making it convenient for us to explore the area. this place exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend it to everyone.
