As youngsters, we loved the spacious and clean rooms, the comfortable beds, and the small freezer in the refrigerator. The high-quality toiletries and the thoughtful hanger for wet towels in the bathroom were nice touches. The hotel's location near Matsumoto Castle and the JR Station was perfect, and the nearby Parco mall was convenient. The breakfast buffet in the adjoining cafe was delicious, and we enjoyed the view of the Japanese mountains from our room. Check out was easy with the available machine in Japanese and English.

This hotel exceeded my expectations considering its price range. its location is excellent, being just a few minutes' walk from the train station and within walking distance of major attractions like Matsumoto Castle. The convenience of being so close to transportation and sightseeing spots made my stay all the more enjoyable. Secondly, the staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with any queries or requests I had. Their warm hospitality added a personal touch to my experience. Lastly, the basic amenities provided were of good quality, from the comfortable beds to the well-equipped bathrooms. The rooms even had a great view of Matsumoto to the west, making it a pleasant sight to wake up to. And, to top it all off, breakfast was included, ensuring a satisfying start to each day of my stay.

the staff at Richmond Hotel were incredibly helpful and friendly. the location of the hotel was ideal, just a 5-minute walk to downtown and surrounded by department stores. It was also conveniently close to Matsumoto Castle, only a 12-minute walk away. the rooms and facilities were clean and comfortable. I was also pleased to find that they provided parking at a reasonable fee. I had a wonderful stay.
