We had a great experience at Ryokan Asakusa Shigetsu. The location was perfect, with the temple, subway, and great restaurants just steps away. The traditional Japanese breakfast was delicious, and we loved wearing the robes and slippers provided. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.

The location of the hotel was perfect for my family, with easy access to a subway station and a variety of shops and restaurants nearby. Despite the small size of the room, it was clean and comfortable. I especially enjoyed the onsen on the sixth floor, with a great view and a calming aroma. I would recommend this hotel for its convenience, cleanliness, and relaxing amenities.

The value for money at this ryokan was excellent and the room, although small, was in good condition. The location, right next to a famous temple and local marketplace, was perfect, and the staff were friendly and attentive.

One of the highlights was the public onsen on the top floor, which provided a relaxing and authentic Japanese experience.

While the hotel had many positives, there were a few drawbacks. the owner had a bit of an attitude and was not accommodating to special requests.

This hotel is a true gem! It offers great value for money and is located in the heart of Asakusa, just a stone's throw away from the main attractions. The staff is extremely friendly and the attention to detail in the rooms with Western bathroom and traditional tatami mats is fantastic. Don't miss the fantastic breakfast, especially the set meal with a view of Tokyo Sky Tree.

Absolutely loved this little ryokan! It was the perfect start to our trip and set the bar high for the rest of our stay. The staff was friendly and accommodating, helping us with our luggage and transportation. The public bath was tastefully set up and the room was cozy yet beautiful. The location was fantastic, right next to Sensoji Temple and a few minutes from Asakusa station. Lots of food options and souvenir shopping nearby. The Japanese breakfast and hot baths were amazing too!

The hotel is centrally located in the heart of Asakusa, just steps away from Nakamise dori and Sensoji temple. The rooms are beautifully designed and offer stunning views of either the shrine or the Tokyo Skytree. The staff is very friendly and attentive, ensuring a comfortable stay with their excellent service. The breakfast, which is included in the price, offers a delicious set meal with an amazing view of the Tokyo Skytree.

Great location, friendly staff, amazing public baths and Japanese breakfast. Japanese-style rooms are comfortable with free amenities like towels, tea, and toothbrushes. Walking distance to Senso-ji Temple and Nakamise Shopping Street.

Everything is what I need and want.

The location was superb, just off the main shopping road towards the temple. It was very convenient to a lot of little shops in the area. Plus, it was connected to any eastern area of the city thanks to 2 subway lines.

Nothing could have been better.

We had an amazing experience staying at a ryokan. The traditional Japanese room with shoji screens and night screens added to the authentic atmosphere. The location was perfect, right in the heart of Asakusa with plenty of shops, restaurants, and attractions nearby. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service. The rooms were clean and comfortable, providing a good night's sleep. We also enjoyed the hearty Japanese breakfast. we would highly recommend this hotel for a unique and enjoyable stay in Tokyo.
