We had a great experience at Ryokan Asakusa Shigetsu. The location was perfect, with the temple, subway, and great restaurants just steps away. The traditional Japanese breakfast was delicious, and we loved wearing the robes and slippers provided. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.

Convenient location with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Enjoyed the Japanese breakfast and the small, expected room size. Great value for cost. The incredible 'public' bath on the top floor had a spectacular view.

The hotel is centrally located in the heart of Asakusa, just steps away from Nakamise dori and Sensoji temple. The rooms are beautifully designed and offer stunning views of either the shrine or the Tokyo Skytree. The staff is very friendly and attentive, ensuring a comfortable stay with their excellent service. The breakfast, which is included in the price, offers a delicious set meal with an amazing view of the Tokyo Skytree.

All was in good working order and exceeded my expectations.

The location was superb, just off the main shopping road towards the temple. It was very convenient to a lot of little shops in the area. Plus, it was connected to any eastern area of the city thanks to 2 subway lines.

We had an amazing experience staying at a ryokan. The traditional Japanese room with shoji screens and night screens added to the authentic atmosphere. The location was perfect, right in the heart of Asakusa with plenty of shops, restaurants, and attractions nearby. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service. The rooms were clean and comfortable, providing a good night's sleep. We also enjoyed the hearty Japanese breakfast. we would highly recommend this hotel for a unique and enjoyable stay in Tokyo.

The traditional atmosphere of the hotel was a highlight, along with the hot bath facility, which was a great bonus. the central location of the hotel made it easy to access shops and sights, and transportation to and from the airport was convenient. the staff were friendly and accommodating, allowing us to have the hotel breakfast at our convenience and providing clean towels even when we opted out of room cleaning.

The rooms were on the smaller side, and the lack of seating and small low table made it difficult to relax in the room. There were limited areas within the hotel to relax, as the breakfast room was only for breakfast.

The experience at Ryokan Asakusa Shigetsu was truly authentic and memorable. The traditional tatami mats and clean room made me feel completely immersed in Japanese culture. The location was unbeatable, with Sensoji Temple and Nakamise shopping street just steps away. The proximity to Asakusa train station, which offers direct access to Narita airport, was incredibly convenient. The onsen provided a relaxing and enjoyable experience. I highly recommend this hotel for a truly Japanese Ryokan experience.

Although the room was excellent, there were a few drawbacks. The inability to access the room between 10 am and 3 pm for housekeeping was inconvenient, especially when my kids were jetlagged and needed a nap.

Loved it! Best aspects were the cozy Japanese-style room and the relaxing wooden bath with stunning views. Key location near shops and restaurants, and close to the Ginza line. Also enjoyed the magnificent breakfast.

Disliked the restriction of no room access during cleaning between 10:30 and 3, but not a big deal. a perfect stay for our romantic escape.

Great value for money, with a cozy and comfortable room. The location was perfect, right next to Senso-Ji and shopping areas. The staff were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate my dietary needs.

The breakfast selection could have been improved, maybe by offering more options for guests with dietary restrictions.
