We enjoy the hotel's prime location, just a short walk from the train and subway stations. One receptionist goes above and beyond, ensuring that we feel welcomed and well taken care of. The provided tables and chairs in the common areas make it easy to relax after a day of exploring.

The cleanliness in some common areas could use improvement.

The common area cleanliness was disappointing with stains on carpets!!! Plus, the small room sizes necessitate furniture rearrangement just to maneuver!!! Wi-Fi was frustratingly poor – even close to the access point!!! Sharp missing outlets near the bed!!! A broken dryer added to laundry woes!!!

Had a great time with friends! The hotel is super close to the metro, making it easy to explore places like Kinkaku-ji Temple and the Gion area. The breakfast is tasty, and the staff are friendly. The public bath is a nice touch after a long day.

I faced a bit of confusion regarding breakfast reservations, which was slightly annoying. It would have been smoother if the process was clearer.

The wifi was incredibly slow, basically unusable!!! Some unusual rules about reservations for breakfast!!! The laundry facilities are convenient but those dryers take far too long. you're better off air-drying your clothes!!!

Evening drinks made our stay special

From the moment I arrived, the welcoming vibe swept me off my feet! The complimentary drinks in the evenings were a fantastic treat, making it a perfect way to unwind after exploring the city. The room was surprisingly spacious for Japan, and the public baths were a lovely touch, leaving me feeling rejuvenated each time. Plus, being only a short walk from Kyoto Station and having a subway station right outside was incredibly convenient.

The breakfast buffet was impressive, featuring a variety of delicious options including fresh smoothies and muffins that started our day off right.

The room was quite small, leaving little space for luggage, which made our stay feel a bit cramped.

Spacious room, friendly staff, with amenities like a fridge and electric kettle for convenience. A bus stop a minute away to explore attractions like Kiyomizu-dera Temple.

There was no on-site restaurant, which limited dining options, especially if the weather wasn't favorable for a walk.

Amazing welcome drinks every night. plus free laundry service was such a nice extra! Spacious room with great amenities, a public bath that gave us a perfect way to unwind. And just a short walk to Kyoto Station for easy access to the city!

Staff could be more helpful at times, especially with language barriers. A bit more attention to common area cleanliness would elevate the experience.
