loved every second of our stay at this amazing ryokan in tokyo. the neighborhood is fantastic, and sleeping on comfy futon beds was a great experience. the showers were clean and spacious, and the location is close to subway stations and attractions. plus, the staff, Satoshi-san, was friendly and approachable.

One small inconvenience - no fridge in the common room.

We had a fantastic stay at a ryokan in central Asakusa area. The location is perfect, as it is very near to Senso-ji temple and multiple subway lines. We were able to easily explore the city and even travel to the Narita airport with convenience. The hotel facilities were great and the cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable. Additionally, the staff was very helpful and accommodating, providing excellent customer service throughout our stay.

Not one thing.

Our recent stay at Taito Ryokan was a delightful experience. The traditional tatami rooms provided a cozy and comfortable atmosphere to relax in. We appreciated the daily cleaning routine, which kept the communal areas neat and tidy. The location was fantastic, with plenty of restaurants and bars within a short walking distance. Despite the minor noise from outside, we found the overall ambiance of the ryokan to be peaceful and inviting. we highly recommend Taito Ryokan for a unique and enjoyable stay.

We stayed at Taito Ryokan for a total of 10 days and loved every second of it. Satoshi-kun, the owner, is really nice and friendly and speaks great English. the neighborhood in Asakusa is truly amazing, with plenty of restaurants and sights to explore. the ryokan itself is an old, but nicely renovated house, giving you the chance to experience old Japan. the tatami mats were super comfy to sleep on, and the shower was amazing with steaming hot water. the location couldn't be better, with the metro just a 3-minute walk away. Mr Satoshi also let us keep our luggage in the house after we checked out, which was greatly appreciated.

The location of the hotel is excellent, with plenty of nearby attractions such as a 24-hour supermarket, Senso-ji temple, and a subway station just a short walk away. The room was clean and comfortable, with traditional tatami floors and futon beds. The staff was helpful and friendly, ensuring a pleasant stay. the convenience of being near a train station made exploring the city a breeze.

The lack of soundproofing in the windows, allowing some noise from the street to enter the room.

I had a fantastic stay at this traditional Japanese ryokan. The hotel facilities were excellent - the bathroom and toilets were clean, and the hot water for the shower was consistently stable. The location was perfect, right in the central Asakusa area and so close to the underground station. It was incredibly convenient to explore the city, especially the nearby Senso-ji temple. The staff, especially Satoshi-san, were friendly and welcoming.

We got great value for our money at this charming old house in Asakusa. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious, with the best floor mattresses we've experienced in Japan. The location was excellent, close to the metro station and within walking distance of many restaurants. The owner was friendly and helpful throughout our week-long stay.

Comfortable tatami mats and buckwheat pillows provided for a restful night's sleep. Friendly and welcoming host who speaks English well. Offers luggage storage for early arrival. 👍

I recently stayed at Taito Ryokan for a few nights and had a wonderful experience. The host was incredibly friendly and provided great deals and information in the communal area. The room was clean and surprisingly spacious, with a comfortable futon and plenty of luggage space. The windows were large and offered a great view. The location was convenient, with both Asakusa and Taito stations within walking distance. Taito Ryokan provided a comfortable and authentic Japanese accommodation experience.

The communal area was informative and had great deals. the futon was comfortable with two mattresses. the room had a small sitting area and plenty of luggage space.

The building lacked soundproofing, making it difficult to sleep. the toilets were old and lacked privacy, and the light coming into the room was disruptive.

Great location, within walking distance of major attractions and with a view of Tokyo Skytree. The instructions on how to get there were accurate and easy to follow. The host, Satoshi-san, was very helpful and accommodating, allowing us to leave our luggage before check-in. He spoke English well, making communication smooth.

The wifi inside the room was not as strong as in the common areas. The room could use some maintenance and renovation, as certain aspects were worn down and there were issues with noise isolation.
