Travelling with a preschool age child, we wanted a quiet room outside of the Old Town but still close enough to walk everywhere. Grand Poet Hotel And Spa By Semarah is in the perfect location and was so quiet it felt like we were the only ones there once we got to our room. The staff is all very helpful including providing a map and pointing out a few helpful landmarks. The airport transfer worked very well. The breakfast fueled us for the day and is not to be missed. The cleanliness of the entire hotel was excellent. I would recommend this hotel for anyone visiting.

The pool could be longer, limiting the opportunity for guests to engage in swimming as exercise.

Attending a family funeral in Riga, we couldn't have asked for better care and support. The hotel staff, from the front desk to housekeeping to the bar, were all incredibly kind. The facilities were beautiful, and the location was excellent. After a difficult day, it was a comforting feeling to return to this lovely hotel.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The location is perfect, situated between three parks and in front of Vecriga, where you can find the best local restaurants. It's also close to the city center and the principal Art Nouveau neighborhood. The hotel facilities are top-notch, with a beautiful lobby and well-designed rooms. The cleanliness is impeccable, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Not to mention, the breakfast is varied and delicious.

The hotel had a great atmosphere and stylish decor which was really impressive. the room we stayed in was spacious and had a bathtub, which was a nice touch. the beds were comfy and the bed linens were luxurious. the hotel also had a little spa with saunas, a pool, and a jacuzzi which was perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. the breakfast had a good variety of choices, although the wait time for the eggs was a bit long. we enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider coming back.

There were a few things that could have been improved. the hotel could use some renovations as there were bumps and peeling paint in some areas.
