Perfect location near wildlife centers, clean and comfortable rooms, attractive boardwalk, good breakfast selection, excellent swimming pool.

the resort was a tranquil escape, surrounded by lush greenery, and offered a stunning view from the balcony. the pool was refreshing and we even spotted monkeys in the trees. the restaurant served delicious food and the staff were helpful. exceeded expectations compared to my previous stay in sandakan.

Wifi connection was weak.

We had a fantastic stay at a jungle resort near the famous orangutan sanctuary. The resort was clean and had excellent facilities, including a beautiful pool and a restaurant with a stunning view over the water. It was conveniently located within walking distance of the main attractions, making it easy for us to explore the area. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring that we had a great experience during our stay.

The hotel facilities were great, including a lovely pool and beautiful gardens that attracted a variety of birds and butterflies. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and they even offered me a late check-out free of charge. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with soft beds and a jungle-themed decor. I also enjoyed the meals at the onsite restaurant, which had great views and excellent service.

the location was perfect and the resort itself was truly amazing. From the beautiful sprawling grounds set on a huge lake to the fabulous restaurant over the water, everything was simply stunning. the pool was lovely and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They even helped us organize a driver to pick us up from the bus on the highway. the rooms were basic but comfortable, with hot water for showers. Walking around the grounds felt like a relaxing jungle experience, with plenty of flora and fauna to admire. It was also conveniently located near the Orangutan and Sun Bear sanctuaries, as well as the rainforest discovery center. When I return to Sepilok, I will definitely be staying at this resort again. Highly recommended!

We had an absolute blast at this place! The vibe was so chill and laid-back, perfect for young people. The pool area was dope, great for cooling off and lounging around. The surrounding grounds were stunning, with a beautiful boardwalk over a lake and lush gardens. We even spotted an orangutan by the lake, which was incredible! It's a birdwatcher's paradise too, we saw a rhinoceros hornbill. And the best part? The orangutan and sun bear sanctuary was just a short walk away. Highly recommend this place for nature lovers and adventure seekers!

The rooms, though basic, were clean, comfortable, and spacious enough. it was a wonderful experience.

The breakfast offers a decent selection of food to start the day. the resort boasts a great pool, perfect for a refreshing dip after a day of exploring.

Some of the facilities and furniture in the resort are outdated and in need of renovation.

the natural environment is amazing, surrounded by the jungle and a wooden path that allows you to spot different animals. the staff are incredibly friendly and helped me organize my Kinabatangan river trip and airport pick up. the resort's location is perfect, with the orangutan and sunbear sanctuary just a short walk away. the pool is also a great addition, especially for cooling off on hot days. it was a fantastic experience.

I recently stayed at Sepilok Jungle Resort for a few days while exploring Sepilok. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the orangutan and sun bear centers, and a quick taxi ride to the Rainforest Discovery Centre. The resort itself was beautiful, with a peaceful and picturesque setting surrounded by the jungle. The rooms were comfortable and made of wood, and I loved sitting on the veranda in the evenings. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the grounds were well-maintained. The pool was a great way to cool off in the humid weather.

The perfect location next to the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre and Sun Bears made our stay at the resort truly memorable. The beautiful grounds and exotic surroundings added to the charm. Despite some minor issues, the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our stay.

Although the dorm rooms and facilities were in need of updating, and the attached cafe had some below-average options, the overall experience was still enjoyable. The resort has great potential, but it requires some investment and tender loving care to reach its full glory.

The pool was refreshing, and we were even lucky enough to spot some orangutans in the trees nearby. Though there were a few minor inconveniences, overall I would recommend this hotel for a short stay to see the orangutans and sun bears.

Although the room was basic, the beds were comfortable and it was perfect for one night. the highlight was definitely the swimming pool, a great place to relax after our jungle adventure. the breakfast options were delicious and generous. Plus, the location was ideal, within walking distance of the sun bear and orangutan sanctuaries.
