The rooms are basic but generally OK, and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, making your stay more enjoyable. The small pool is a nice addition, and the wash service is convenient and reasonably priced.

The outdoor kitchen area could use some updating and has limited facilities.

Hotel Residence Oceane was a convenient home base for exploring the rugged peninsula, its hiking trails, and nearby sleepy fishing towns. The location provided an authentic glimpse into life on Martinique's north side. We enjoyed simple tasks like reading a found book and playing games with family members in the collection of used books and board games that were available at the hotel. It was the perfect setting for quality family time.

For dads, it would be great if the hotel had a playground for children.

I recently stayed at a fantastic place in Martinique called Residence Oceane. The location was outstanding, with breathtaking views from our spacious terrace. The facilities were awesome, including a great pool nearby and easy access to nearby beaches. The room was very clean and the staff were open to all our needs. A big plus was that they spoke both French and English, which is not common in Martinique. The apartment was well equipped and in superb condition, and we enjoyed the unique concept of a kitchen on the open-air balcony. it was a fantastic experience with everything you need in a resort.

During my Christmas stay, I absolutely loved the stunning view from my room overlooking the beach. It was such a joy to wake up and see the turquoise waters right in front of me. Another great aspect was the comfort of the bed. After a long day exploring the area, it was so relaxing to sink into a plush and cozy bed. the staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any questions or requests.

One aspect that I didn't appreciate was the lack of hot water and low water pressure in the shower. It was a bit disappointing to have a lukewarm shower after a day at the beach.

The view from our balcony was absolutely stunning, offering a breathtaking panorama. The hotel's location was perfect, situated in a less touristy area of the island which allowed us to experience the local culture. We were also able to easily access nearby beaches, making it convenient for us to enjoy the sun and sand. The breakfast provided was delicious, with fresh baguette, croissant, salami, and espresso. the cleanliness of the hotel, its facilities, and the helpfulness of the staff made our stay truly enjoyable.

I absolutely loved the cozy and inviting atmosphere of the hotel's lobby. It had a warm and charming decor that made me feel right at home. The comfortable seating area and the beautiful views of the sea from the open windows were a delight for a senior like myself. Additionally, the hotel was easily accessible for senior people, with well-maintained elevators and ramps, making it convenient for me to navigate around the property.

I would have appreciated more assistance from the staff to enhance the vacation experience for senior guests. Maybe a dedicated concierge service or a little extra guidance on nearby activities and attractions tailored for older visitors would have been wonderful.

We had a wonderful time at Residence Oceane in Martinique. Our stay was for 3 days and we were thrilled with the beautiful view from our balcony. The apartment was well-equipped and in superb condition. The open-air kitchen concept on the balcony was unique and enjoyable. The breakfast provided fresh baguettes, croissants, salami, and espresso. The location is outstanding, with a short 5-minute walk to the beach, perfect for surfers. The facilities, including the swimming pool and nearby surfing schools, were excellent. The staff was friendly and accommodating, speaking both French and English.
