The size of the room was perfect for our needs and it had ample storage space. The hotel had thoughtfully provided all the information and amenities we needed. We particularly liked the easy self check-in process and the well-presented room. Despite staying at the end of the summer season, the room was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The location was great, with a short walk into Whitby and all its attractions.

As a solo traveler, I loved the charming and opulent atmosphere of BellView Hotel. The staff were lovely and attentive, and the restaurant offered fantastic food and cocktails. The live violin trio was a delightful touch. The spacious and clean bathroom suite, along with the personal courtyard and balcony, provided fantastic spaces to relax throughout the day. The balcony offered a beautiful view of the cathedral towers and dome.

The décor and view at this hotel were stunning, making for a picturesque and Instagram-worthy vacation. The staff were friendly and helpful, going above and beyond in answering our many questions, carrying our heavy bags up the stairs, and generally making us feel welcome. Plus, the food at their restaurant was some of the best we've tasted in a long time, a definite plus.

This hotel just wasn't very accessible. We found ourselves trudging up countless flights of stairs each day, a daunting prospect in the hot sun.
