What a fantastic stay we had over Christmas! the beach was absolutely stunning, with crystal clear waters and soft white sand. We loved lounging under the sun and taking a dip in the ocean. the hotel's location was also ideal, with easy access to nearby attractions and activities. We particularly enjoyed exploring the nearby cenote, a beautiful natural wonder that added a touch of adventure to our stay. Additionally, the service at the hotel was top-notch, with attentive and friendly staff who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction.

There were a few drawbacks to our experience. One major issue was the prevalence of mosquitos.

I recently stayed at this beautiful resort for a few days and it exceeded all my expectations. The property is well-maintained and offers amazing nature trails where you can see wildlife like spider monkeys, crocodiles, and raccoons. The swimming pools in the villas are heated and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with attention to detail in every aspect. The food in the restaurants is outstanding and the beach setup is perfect. this resort offers a luxurious and enjoyable experience that is definitely worth the price.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. The villa I stayed in was well-insulated and provided a peaceful and restful environment. The pool and jacuzzi were fantastic, and I particularly enjoyed the comfortable bed and nice bathroom. The hotel's location in the middle of nature was truly breathtaking. Additionally, the hotel staff were incredibly courteous and organized, making my arrival easy and hassle-free. The hotel facilities, including the romantic and private villas, were top-notch. I loved that each villa had bikes available for guests to use, and if biking wasn't your style, golf carts were also readily available. The beach was well-maintained and offered seaside pools, adding to the overall experience.

Hard to think of anything negative about my stay here. The only minor criticism I have is that the breakfast for two was quite expensive, and the prices of some items, like the kids' pasta, were a bit high.

Gorgeous property, attentive staff, amazing room, superb food, great details , cool boat ride. Definitely the best luxury resort, coming back! Stunning place, full of wildlife, huge villas, lots of privacy, green island outside the city. Unforgettable stay, one of the best ever. Favourite spots are breakfast place, hidden town, breakfast boat, Saffron restaurant, and Edwin at the beach.

As frequent travelers, we have stayed in high-end hotels around the world, and we can confidently say that Banyan Tree in Mayakoba is one of the best. The service and attention to detail from the staff are of the highest standard. The villas and facilities are excellent, and the property is beautifully maintained. The nature trails provide a unique experience, where we saw spider monkeys and a variety of wildlife. The heated swimming pools and the amazing beach set up added to our enjoyment. Additionally, the food in the restaurants was absolutely amazing.

The hotel is situated on a beautiful lagoon, offering a unique environment. The restaurants serve delicious food and the staff, especially Jesus with the bikes, provide excellent service.

The hotel is quite far away from the nearby entertainment venues off-site.

During my Xmas vacation, I must say I was impressed by the complimentary drinks and snacks offered upon my arrival. the hotel is located in a prime area near restaurants and shopping centers. the beach is easily accessible and was beautiful to look at.

My stay was not as relaxing as I hoped due to the extremely noisy construction work going on in the hotel.

We had an incredible time at Banyan Tree, where the staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. Our Event Coordinator, Marine, was always there to assist and ensure every detail was taken care of. The meeting facilities, spa, dining, and catering were top-notch. The service and passion for genuine service were evident in every staff member. We look forward to returning in the future. I highly recommend this hotel.

As youngsters, we loved the amazing villas and the beautiful beach. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, especially our hotel host Gena. The restaurant options were sufficient and of good quality. The resort also had a great gym and well-kept gardens. The beach area was very pleasant and snacks were delicious, especially the brownie. We also enjoyed playing golf on the El Camaleon course, which was probably the best we've ever played.

This hotel exceeded our expectations with its luxurious amenities and exceptional service. the spa center offered a variety of treatments, including body scrubs and massages. the outdoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi were perfect for relaxing and unwinding. the garden area was well-maintained and provided a serene atmosphere.

The only minor issue we encountered was the lack of beach access. the hotel shuttle was readily available to take us to the nearby beach.

I recently stayed at Banyan Tree in Playa del Carmen for a week-long vacation. The villas were spacious, with separate units and a private pool. The amenities, such as the jacuzzi, day bed, outdoor bath, and hammock. We loved exploring the nature trail on the provided bikes and spotting various animals. The boat rides were a great experience as well. The staff went above and beyond in providing exceptional service, always tending to our needs with a smile. The breathtaking views, delicious food, and private pool attached to our room exceeded all expectations. I also had the best massage of my life at the spa. I can't wait to go back!
