We only stayed for two nights and mostly to explore Maya ruins in the region so we did not spend much time on the property, but it was an exceptional experience to spend a night someplace that has 442 years of history on the property. the grounds of this historic hacienda are exquisite with a museum, restaurant, chapel and an incredible swimming pool! Located just a short 5 minute drive from the center. the property is gated and quiet. the staff was very friendly and our two bedroom suite was very clean with everything we needed. I highly recommend this property.

We were pleasantly surprised by our recent stay at Hacienda Kaan Ac. The location was fantastic, offering a secluded and peaceful atmosphere while still being within a short distance of Valladolid. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, providing a true feeling of stepping back in time. The grounds were stunning, with a picturesque garden and two refreshing pools. Additionally, the staff were friendly, patient, and always ready to assist us with any questions or needs. it was a hidden gem that exceeded our expectations.

The elegant grounds were surrounded by a castle dating back to 1580, offering a unique and historical experience. the two swimming pools and chapel added to the charm. the comfortable bungalow-style accommodations were enjoyable. the central location was perfect for exploring nearby attractions such as Chichen Itzá and cenotes. the staff was friendly and professional.

Some guests encountered cleanliness issues, including dead insects and a dirty kitchen. the lack of amenities, such as room safes and secure doors, could be concerning for some.

We had an exceptional experience staying at a 442-year-old property. The villa was spacious with a large kitchen and eating area, perfect for our family. The place was very clean and had a beautiful garden. We loved exploring the historic carriage house on the property, where we enjoyed a well-prepared and attractively presented breakfast. The pool was also a highlight, with its garden-like setting and a beautiful center statue.

The lack of staff after 8.00 pm made us feel a bit isolated.

If you're looking for a peaceful getaway, this hacienda is the place for you. the gardens are stunning and the overall atmosphere is very calm. Plus, the staff is incredibly friendly and always available to help you with anything you need. the pool area is lovely and a perfect place to unwind after a long day exploring the city. the rooms are classic and clean, which adds to the feeling of being in a luxurious retreat.

the restaurant wasn't always open, which was a disappointment. the fridge in the room was empty, which meant that we had to go out of our way to purchase drinks and snacks.

Tranquil location with beautiful grounds, friendly staff, and excellent lighting. Spacious rooms with kitchenette, though no coffee facilities. Historical area filled with 19th Century objects and carriages. Ideal for exploring Chichen Itzá, Maya ruins, cenotes, and downtown Valladolid.

We had a wonderful stay at Hacienda Kaan Ac. the independent villas were spacious and comfortable, perfect for our needs. the staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, even serving us a late dinner when we arrived. the location was ideal for visiting the nearby ruins and cenotes, especially if you have a car. the area was supremely quiet, which was great for a light sleeper like me. the entire property felt very safe, with 24-hour manned gates. We also loved exploring the castle museum on the grounds. we highly recommend Hacienda Kaan Ac and would definitely stay here again.
