My stay at the hacienda was absolutely delightful! The courtyard pool was perfect for relaxing afternoons, and the staff made me feel like family with their warm welcomes. I adored waking up to the sounds of birds and enjoying breakfast right in my lovely room!

Gorgeous hacienda with a lovely courtyard and two pools! The four-poster bed in my room was huge and comfy, and air con did the job, even if it was a bit dramatic about its performance.

The free parking was just a hop, skip, and a jump away. I couldn’t tell if the ceiling fan was blowing cool air or just mocking me.

The location is ideal, providing a peaceful retreat within a block of key attractions. The personnel made me feel welcome and provided great advice on local history and spots to visit.

While the breakfast had nice options, the service was slow and felt a bit unfriendly at times, which was disappointing.

One downside was the inconsistency in room amenities. We were surprised to find that our room lacked a fridge, which made it inconvenient to store snacks and drinks. Additionally, the outdoor areas around the pool could use some cleaning. there were leaves and debris that made it less inviting, detracting from the overall elegant vibe of the hacienda.

We kicked back by the pool, enjoyed breakfast together, and explored the city. Don’t miss a trip to the archaeological site and the colorful market. The staff was super helpful, and the location was perfect—just a short walk to the city center.

Only downside was a confusing car rental reservation that took longer to sort out than expected.

I had a delightful stay at Hotel Hacienda Merida. The charming hacienda atmosphere, with its beautifully designed courtyard and lush plants, created a peaceful retreat. The staff were exceptionally helpful, providing thoughtful dining recommendations and assistance throughout my stay. Dining poolside with the delightful sounds of birds added a lovely touch to my mornings.
