The hotel was in a great location, close to good downtown restaurants and the Collectivo, which takes you to the beach. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The room was fantastic, with a jacuzzi tub looking out to our own private patio. The bed was super comfortable and the hotel facilities were new and clean.

This hidden gem is located in a quiet neighborhood, close to the beach, Walmart supermarket, and Tacos Rigos. The rooms are clean and cheery, with comfortable beds and pillows. The bathroom is well-maintained and the staff is helpful and kind. The breakfast is tasty and there are options like fruit, milk, juices, cereals, and bread with butter and jam. The hotel also has a nice pool, a beautiful terrace, and a patio deck with soft Mexican background music.

One downside is that some rooms may have a persisting musty smell, as mentioned by a previous guest.

The room layout with big windows and a nice bed was a pleasant surprise. the outside area with a pool and lobby provided a great place to hang out in the evening. the open-air dining area for breakfast was also a nice touch. the staff was friendly and the beds were comfortable.

The water in the shower was not hot enough, almost cold, while the sink had extremely hot water. There was also mold in the bathroom ceiling and not enough fresh air in the room.

Everything was fantastic.

We spent Christmas at this hotel and really enjoyed our stay. the staff was friendly and helpful, and they assisted us in getting around the city. Despite their limited English, they were always willing to lend a hand. the room we stayed in was spacious with two comfortable beds and a large bathroom. We had a lovely view from our window, and it was convenient to have immediate access to the breakfast area.

There were a couple of drawbacks during our stay. First, the hotel is located on a main road, so it can get quite noisy at night, making it difficult to sleep.

The staff at Hotel Blue Star was amazing! We had a small issue with the water pressure in our room, but they quickly resolved it. blue star surpassed my expectations in cancun. the staff and facilities were top-notch, from the neat rooms to the pleasant rooftop hot tub and swimming pool. i enjoyed the excellent value for money, huge bed, and delicious breakfast. it was the perfect choice for our short stay before catching a shuttle elsewhere.
