The location was fantastic, within easy walking distance to the Zocalo, local markets, and various cultural museums. The courtyard was a peaceful spot to relax, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, which made our stay that much better.

The noise from other guests could be disruptive, especially in the early morning hours.

The rooms are poorly laid out, with some smaller than advertised!!! Paint is peeling in spots, creating an unkempt appearance. Noise from the street can be disruptive, especially in the early morning!!!

i almost gave this hotel a good review but just couldn't. the bathroom was dirty, and loud noise kept me up until 1 am. i suppose my mere presence should've qualified me for an upgrade, but who knew basic comfort wasn’t their priority? i’m truly shocked that no one seemed concerned about my experience.

It was just a great match for a weekend breather in Oaxaca with outstanding value. The helpful staff offered free coffee and cookies at reception, which was a nice touch. Bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper, as noise can be an issue at night.

Canny place, like! Staff were proper friendly and the courtyard garden, lush with plants, was dead relaxing. Just a short wander to the Zocalo for great food. Only downside was a bit of noise in the night, which could disturb light sleepers. Overall, a grand stay!

I stayed 3 nights and enjoyed the location, very close to cultural attractions. The room was clean, with a firm bed. The staff was helpful and fulfilled my requests. One night, I found the ambiance in the courtyard a nice retreat after a day of exploring. However, the noise from nearby rooms sometimes disrupted my sleep. I recommend bringing earplugs if you're a light sleeper. Being from Italy, I appreciated the interesting mix of local culture and comfort.

dainzu is an adorable boutique hotel just 2 blocks from the zócalo. it has a beautiful, lush courtyard, which creates such a lovely atmosphere. the staff is super friendly and kept everything clean and fresh. the hot showers were great after a long day of exploring, and those free bottles of water every day were much appreciated. perfect location for food and attractions!
