I loved that I could walk everywhere and explore the town without needing to drive. The amenities provided such as the ironing facilities, mini-bar, and flat-screen TV were a nice touch. Additionally, the on-site restaurant offered delicious food and the staff provided excellent service. this place exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The location of the hotel was perfect, right in front of a beautiful park with lush green spaces and a flowing river. It was so convenient to just take a short walk to enjoy the natural scenery. The room I stayed in was very comfortable and spacious, with ample closet space and a cozy bed. The bathroom was clean and had good water pressure for a refreshing shower. The service at the hotel was top-notch, from the friendly front desk staff to the helpful maids and servers in the restaurant. They all went out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay. The breakfast in the basement cafe was outstanding, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The freshly prepared dishes and traditional Mexican food were a highlight of my mornings.

The noise from the surrounding area could be a bit bothersome, especially in the rooms facing the main square.

Unique Charm and Great Location!

I had such a pleasant stay at Plaza Uruapan. The hotel has a wonderful antique feel to it, with beautiful wood carvings and decor throughout the property. The location couldn't be better, right in the heart of town and only a block away from the artesanias market and the parade of artesanos. Despite the roadworks outside, I found the room clean and comfortable, providing a peaceful retreat. The restaurant was superb, offering tasty options and convenient dining choices. I highly recommend this hotel for its unique charm and fantastic location.

The location was perfect for shopping at local markets and experiencing town festivities. We loved that the hotel was right in front of the park, making it easy to walk and admire the plaza. During my xmas stay, I appreciated the complimentary fruit basket and bottle of water provided in the room. the hotel’s location was perfect for exploring the nearby attractions and local shops. the heated pool and Jacuzzi were a great way to relax after a day of sightseeing.

The wifi connection was weak and unstable, which made it difficult to research and communicate with family during the holiday season. the noise level from the nearby construction works made it difficult to sleep in during the mornings.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, right in the center of town. It was convenient to have a parking garage available. Additionally, I appreciated the authentic Spanish feel of the hotel, with its beautiful wood carvings and decor.

Some of the access doors were broken, causing delays in entering the hotel. the lack of lights in the hallway made it necessary to use our phone flashlights to navigate.
