Cute little beachfront hotel. Rooftop terrace with beautiful lagoon view. Nice, clean rooms with comfy beds and good water pressure in the shower. Best breakfast in Mexico, with choice of eggs, pancakes, or calachiles. Lovely, helpful staff. Would return anytime!

I got great value for my money at Hotel Sun Ha. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect, just a short walk from the main square. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, providing me with tips and making my stay wonderful.

One thing that could make the breakfast better would be to have more variety in the offerings, such as a selection of bread or bakery products.

The friendly staff went above and beyond, even returning a guest's jacket. Cold AC, hot shower, great breakfast. Rooftop view with hammocks for full moon over lagoon. Helpful with bags and arranging boat tour. Relaxing vacation, would return.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Bacalar called Sun Ha and had a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly helpful, speaking both English and Spanish. They assisted us with taxi arrangements and provided valuable advice on getting around the area. It was evident that they genuinely cared about ensuring our comfort throughout our stay. We even requested a later check-out time, and although our room was already booked, they made an effort to accommodate us as much as possible. The room itself was clean and comfortable, equipped with amenities like a TV and air conditioner. The highlight was the rooftop space, offering hammocks and deck chairs with a stunning view of the lagoon. The breakfast, which included toast, fruit, tea/coffee, and a menu to order from. The location of the hotel was convenient, situated within walking distance of the main square, fort, restaurants, and public swimming areas. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Sun Ha.

This hotel is a wonderful find! The location is unbeatable, right by the lagoon, with a stunning roof terrace offering breathtaking views. The staff are beyond attentive and always ready to help. The rooms, although basic, are very comfortable and clean. Breakfast is delicious and offers a great variety of choices. From the reviews given, I love that there is a "lovely view on the lagoon from the terrace" and that the "staff went above and beyond their duties to make me and my family feel comfortable and welcomed".

The hotel had an unbeatable location, just opposite the stunning lake. We loved the roof terrace that offered breathtaking views of the lake, perfect for relaxing with a drink. Moreover, it was close to the center, making it convenient for exploring the area. The room was comfortable and clean, and the staff provided excellent service. The breakfast was delicious, and there was even free cold water available. the location and views made our stay memorable.

My xmas stay was not as pleasant as I had hoped. the noise level from other guests was quite high and the walls seemed paper-thin.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The location was perfect, very close to the lagoon and a public balneario where I could enjoy the beautiful sea view and take boat tours. The hotel also offered free parking, which was very convenient. The breakfast served every morning was fantastic, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I especially loved the fact that they brought breakfast to my private terrace, where I could enjoy the breathtaking view. the cleanliness, hotel facilities, transportation options, and the hotel's proximity to the lagoon were all excellent.

We had an incredible stay at Sun Ha! the hotel itself is beautiful and well-maintained. the photos don't do it justice - it's even nicer in person! the breakfast was delicious, with a variety of options including fresh juice and a menu with choices like eggs, pancakes, and chilaquiles. the staff was incredibly friendly and gave us great recommendations for restaurants and tours. They even upgraded our room and decorated it for our honeymoon. We also loved that they provided bikes for us to use. Communication was challenging as there was only limited English spoken by the staff. The lack of privacy in the rooms was a major issue, with noise from the stairs and other guests disrupting sleep.
