This hotel has a fantastic location right on the beach, with great service from the friendly staff. Rooms are basic but well-maintained and come with good AC, plus fresh towels every day. And best of all, breakfast is included in the price!

Great value for the money, with a central beachfront location and a lovely pool area. The staff, especially Leo and Martin at the bar, made our stay extra enjoyable.

Food for breakfast could have been better, maybe some more variety would be nice.

Celebrating Thanksgiving at the beach was fantastic! Our trip included delicious meals, a beautiful ocean view, and a friendly staff. We enjoyed two complimentary activities and the hotel's proximity to the beach and other attractions. It was an amazing experience!

The rooms were not well maintained and some of the amenities were outdated. The pool area was a bit crowded and the noise level was higher than expected.

The hotel is in a convenient location, within a short walk to various restaurants, and provides direct access to the beach. The rooms are clean and comfortable with high-quality equipment, and the staff is knowledgeable and helpful. Guests can enjoy a nice pool and beach views, and the food, especially the breakfast, is excellent.

The lounge chairs by the pool are uncomfortable.

Nothing not to like

We stayed at a fantastic beachfront location with a quieter and more authentic Mexican atmosphere. The staff at Playa Del Sol were exceptional, always smiling and keeping the place impeccably clean. The garden rooms in the back were quiet, allowing us to have a peaceful stay. The overall experience was so incredible that we are already planning to go back.

We had a fantastic time at Hotel Playa Del Sol. Despite it being a quieter week for tourists, we loved being able to walk to everything and especially enjoyed watching kite surfers. The palapa bar served amazing Margaritas, and we loved that locals came to hang out there too. The guacamole was excellent. The hotel's location on the beach was perfect, with easy access to kitesurfing and wingfoiling. The pool was great, and the cafe served the best breakfast at an affordable price. The staff were friendly, and we even had great fishing crews!

I recently stayed at Hotel Playa Del Sol for a few days and had a fantastic experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. The beach was beautiful, and it would have been even better if they offered kayaks or paddle boards for guests to use. The best feature of the hotel was definitely the bar, located right on the beachfront by the pool. Leo and Martin, the barmen, knew how to make delicious cocktails. The atmosphere was lively, with local residents dropping in, giving it a great local vibe. a unique and enjoyable stay.

I just returned from my third trip to Playa Del Sol and once again, it did not disappoint. The location is absolutely perfect for kiteboarding and windsurfing, with a wide and clean beach right at your doorstep. The hotel staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable, and the fact that all meals are included in the reasonable price was a huge bonus. I especially loved the palapa bar and the breathtaking views of the fish jumping in the sea.
