what a charming hotel with its adorable decor, but seriously, my room was right by the entrance and offered zero privacy. i also faced the worst sticky door locks, like i’m not here for a workout. too bad there was no complimentary upgrade to make up for my ordeal. i almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t.

Every morning felt like a dream with delicious breakfasts served al fresco, and the private veranda was perfect for sunsets. The staff were genuinely attentive and warm, making the stay feel special.

Be prepared for quite the workout if you’re not a fan of stairs! The steep climbs were a bit of a challenge, especially after a long beach day. Just a heads up for those with mobility issues.

The door locks are painfully stiff and seem flimsy!!! Moreover, those late check-in fees on top of already high room rates are absurd!!! The drainage in the bath area needs a serious overhaul. Also, steep stairs can be a real hassle for older guests!!!

my stay in puerto vallarta was great, but quinta maria cortez boutique went above and beyond my expectations. the charming decor and unique rooms made every moment special, while the stunning ocean views and friendly, detail-oriented staff created a relaxing atmosphere. waking up to the sound of waves was an unforgettable experience.
