As a disabled guest, I really appreciated the accessible facilities at The Pickled Onion. The spacious and beautifully decorated room allowed for easy maneuverability, and the presence of a fridge in the room was a pleasant surprise. The comfortable bed, along with the air conditioning and fan, ensured a restful night's sleep. The friendly staff were always on hand to provide assistance and helpful tips about the surrounding area. The breakfast served at the gorgeous patio was not only delicious but also offered a wide selection. The pool, surrounded by indigenous trees and plants, was a welcome facility to relax in after a long day of exploring. the attention to detail in the design and layout of the B&B, combined with the warmth of the staff, created a truly enjoyable experience.

I felt very lucky to have no complaints at all during my stay at The Pickled Onion.

The location of this eco-boutique B&B is perfect for exploring the ruins of the Ruta Puuc. It is right in the centre of the Ruta Puuc, close to Uxmal ruins, and very close to a lot of amazing Maya sites such as Uxmal but also less known sites which will let you feel like an early explorer. The casita we stayed in had a beautifully decorated room with a comfortable bed, a spacious bathroom with a large shower, and even a private front patio. The breakfast was generous and delicious, offering a great start to the day.
