One negative aspect is that the hotel is situated in a back alley which is currently under construction. This may cause noise and inconvenience for guests during their stay.

I was pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome I received at the Riad Alaka. The staff went out of their way to make sure I had a comfortable stay and even helped me with my return boarding pass issues. The location of the riad was perfect - situated in a less touristy part of the Medina but still easily accessible to all the sights. The dinners cooked by Aziz were absolutely delicious. I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend Riad Alaka.

Beautiful traditional decor, great air conditioning, pool, and huge breakfasts. Lovely terrace for relaxing. Staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive. Convenient location for walking and felt safe.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff, especially Aziz, were incredibly helpful and friendly, always going out of their way to create a great experience for the guests. The beds were really comfortable, and the bathroom was very clean. I also appreciated having air conditioning in the room. I loved the beautiful Moroccan design of the place, and the rooftop jacuzzi was a definite highlight. The breakfast served by the pool every morning was absolutely delicious, with a variety of pastries, fruit, pancakes, yogurts. The WiFi was fast and reliable. I also found the location to be perfect, as it was in a quiet neighborhood, yet still close to the center of the city.

The staff at Riad Alaka were fabulous. Nothing was too much trouble and all the extras including cooking pasta for the kids at the last minute one evening made our stay especially memorable. Other extras included serving breakfast at whatever time suited us and helping with last minute taxis/dinner arrangements. The staff make you feel special and provide a warm and memorable welcome. The installation is beautiful and clean with lovely details. The terrace with a jacuzzi is a great addition. The breakfast is delicious with a variety of options. The location is convenient and after crossing the door, you feel like you're in an oasis. The staff is amazing, welcoming, and they make you feel like part of a family. Mia, the masseuse, provides a very relaxing massage. Malika is kind and sweet, while Mohammed and Aziz are polite, helpful, and friendly. Aziz, the manager, takes care of every detail and ensures your happiness and safety. The tour to the Atlas Mountain with a camel ride and lunch at a Berber house is an incredible experience.

Stayed over the Xmas period and the food served was amazing. We enjoyed the warmth and availability of the person in charge who made sure we had a comfortable stay. the beds were very comfortable, giving us a good night's sleep.

The location wasn't quite what we expected. It was quite a distant walk from the main city center with construction ongoing.

The attentive service and delicious breakfast made our stay even more enjoyable.

The rooftop jacuzzi, although mentioned in one of the reviews, was unfortunately not available during our visit.

The value for money at Riad Alaka was excellent, with a great room, AC, and a spacious rooftop patio for breakfast. The location was good, close enough to the souks but far away enough to get a break from them. The staff treated us like royalty, accommodating our every need and providing quality service.

The breakfast menu could have more variety to make it even better.
