Clean hotel with attentive staff, well-equipped gym, and luxurious rooms. Good food with rooftop restaurant and nice skyline views. About 15 minutes from the airport and a 20-minute walk to Thamel street market. Security guard for added safety.

It was conveniently located in the city center and within walking distance from the shopping area and the famous Thamel street market. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the staff were kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. The breakfast was a great start to the day, and the hotel had a spa and an outdoor pool for relaxation. The views of the Himalayan mountain range were magnificent.

Occasionally, the water pressure was low, which is a common issue in the area.

Me encantó mi estadía en este hotel. Los mejores aspectos fueron la ubicación cercana a la estación de tren, la limpieza impecable, el desayuno delicioso y el personal amable. La estación de Dainichi, que conecta tanto con JR como con el metro de Osaka, está a pocos pasos del hotel. Además, había tiendas de conveniencia cerca. El desayuno era sencillo pero elegante, con muchas opciones disponibles. Aunque no hablaban mucho inglés, hicieron todo lo posible para comunicarse conmigo. Si volviera a esta ciudad, definitivamente me hospedaría nuevamente en este hotel.

Spent Thanksgiving at this hidden gem in Nepal and was absolutely blown away by the hospitality extended by the staff. the hotel was in a great location, close to shopping areas and the airport. the food offered at the restaurant was delicious, with options including local and international cuisine. the hotel also provided airport pick-up and drop-off, making our trip smooth and hassle-free. the friendly and ever-helpful staff made our stay truly unforgettable.

The room we stayed in felt a bit cramped and could have benefited from better maintenance. the breakfast spread was also lacking in options.

Nothing not to love.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff, especially Sushant, Sudip, and Aleena, were extremely helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with clean and spacious rooms that had beautiful views of the surrounding mountain range. The breakfast was delicious and offered a variety of options. The location was perfect, away from the crowded Thamel area and heritage sites, but still easily accessible to all the major attractions in the city.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with outstanding hospitality. The hotel staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They even allowed us a late checkout without any extra charges when our flight was delayed. The interior of the hotel is beautifully decorated and the facilities are top-notch. We will definitely choose to stay at Basera Boutique Hotel again when we return to Kathmandu!
