I was disappointed by the lack of timely service during breakfast. My order took an excessively long time to arrive, which was frustrating. Additionally, my early check-in request was met with unhelpfulness, leaving me waiting for hours despite available rooms, which felt very discouraging.

Those canal views? Absolutely breathtaking! The brekkie spread was insane, especially the fresh smoothies—it was like a party for my taste buds. And the staff? Super friendly, made me feel right at home, especially that chommie running brekkie. Loved it!

But, ag man, getting out of the bathtub was a bit of a challenge. kinda slippery and tricky!

the reception was an absolute mess, I had to wait until almost 4 PM with no complimentary drinks—unbelievable for a supposed 5-star hotel. oh, and I expected room slippers and free bottled water, not too much to ask, right? it's like they forget I'm staying here! almost thought about a good review but just couldn’t.

Spacious, clean room with wonderful storage. Staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The nearby tram stop made exploring so easy and fun!

I enjoyed lounging at the Half Moon Lounge after a long day. Breakfast featured fresh items, and I appreciated the wide selection. Local spirits provided a unique touch. One evening, I had a relaxing drink at the terrace while watching the sunset. That was a highlight for me. I expect good service as I travel often, and this place delivered. I would stay again.

Some aspects could be improved.

hilton amsterdam is so nice and welcoming! the location is perfect, near great museums and a metro station right across the street for easy access. breakfast at roberto's is a must-try, lots of variety and super fresh! room service is quick and the pizza is tasty. the staff really make you feel at home, especially nienke, she was super helpful!

only downside was the slow check-in process, and the breakfast area felt a bit crowded at times.
