During our romantic escape, we loved the fact that the hotel was located within walking distance of major attractions and the shopping area. It was so convenient to be able to stroll to Dam square, Central station, and even the Red Light District. Another key location factor was that the hotel was also a short distance from the Museum area, which was great for exploring the cultural side of the city. Additionally, we really enjoyed the complimentary wine hour at 5 pm. It was a lovely touch and a perfect way to relax after a day of sightseeing.

We were disappointed with the bed situation. This was not what we had requested and it made our stay less comfortable and enjoyable.

Central and clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff. the location is convenient, just a short walk from the main station and close to many restaurants and attractions. the rooms are well-designed, clean, and quiet, offering a comfortable stay. the buffet breakfast is varied and abundant, and the hotel even provides umbrellas for the rain.

The hotel's beautiful decor and attentive staff made my stay delightful. The location was perfect, surrounded by attractions and lovely restaurants. The evening wine meet and greet was a great touch. Special mention to the helpful and kind concierges, as well as the excellent housekeeping and restaurant staff. The room was well-appointed with all the essentials, including a desk mirror and umbrella. I can't fault this hotel, definitely the best I've stayed in.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The facilities were immaculate, from my room to the hallways and lobby bathrooms. The staff was friendly and efficient, providing excellent service throughout my stay. I loved the extra touches, like the crystal wine and water glasses in the room, as well as the high-end toiletries. The hotel design was beautiful, with cozy corners for relaxation. The location was perfect, close to the city center and conveniently near the tram station.

Great location in the heart of the city within walking distance from Amsterdam Central station. The hotel staff were welcoming and attentive. The room had a king size bed and a very nice shower.

The hotel is located in a lively area, close to a variety of restaurants and shops. The main restaurant downstairs serves delicious food, and the complementary wine hour is a great touch. The rooms are overall clean and nicely decorated, with comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. Additionally, the hotel provides bicycles to ride around the area.

Some rooms face less desirable views of a single tree, and noise from nearby parties can be heard in some areas.

I recently stayed at Kimpton in Amsterdam for a short trip and couldn't be happier. The staff were genuinely friendly and went above and beyond to help. The room was quaint but comfortable, with lovely decor and a quiet atmosphere for a good night's sleep. The location was perfect, just a street away from the bustling main road and within walking distance of all the attractions. Special mention to Sheldon, our amazing room cleaner, who surprised us with a thoughtful gift during our stay. We loved our time at Kimpton and will definitely be back!
