mercure exceeded my expectations with their friendly staff, comfortable rooms, and convenient location next to the metro. i loved how easy it was to explore amsterdam and the surrounding areas thanks to the nearby public transport. i will definitely stay here again on future visits.

No phone in rooms.

The room was spacious and clean, with a lovely shower. The hotel is conveniently located by the metro, making it easy to get in and out of the city. The breakfast buffet had a wide selection and was delicious. The staff provided exceptional customer service, with the reception staff being particularly professional and helpful.

The wifi could be patchy at times.

The hotel is located in a calm neighborhood, just 100m away from Noord Station, which is only 2 stations away from the center of the city. We loved the convenience of being right next to the metro, allowing us to easily explore all the attractions we wanted to see. The rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing excellent service throughout our stay. The breakfast was delicious and offered a variety of options to choose from.

There was a slight smell of new decorations in the room, but it was not overly noticeable or bothersome.

Complimentary breakfast was delightful and set us up for the day. the hotel's location was perfect, with easy access to transportation. the room size was reasonable and the rainfall shower head was a highlight.

The air conditioning was confusing, and the room was too hot at times. At night, the noise from outside was quite disruptive and made it challenging to sleep.

We stayed at this place during our recent trip and it was fantastic. The location was perfect and convenient, with easy access to the city center as well as various shops and restaurants around the area. The service housekeeping were impeccable and we were provided with all the amenities we needed, including ironing facilities, heating, air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities. The soundproofed rooms made it easy to get a good night's rest and the free toiletries were a nice touch. We loved the flat-screen TV and the am/fm alarm clock, which kept us on schedule throughout our stay. The dining restaurant and bar/lounge area were great options for a night in, and the staff were friendly and accommodating.

As longer term business travellers, we really appreciated the fantastic staff who were helpful, friendly, and willing to give their time. The convenience of the hotel's location near the metro made it easy to access restaurants, fast food, and a convenient store. The rooms were brand new and spacious, with well-thought-out amenities, such as hooks, spaces for toiletries, and multiple power outlets. The breakfast menu offered many choices, and the hotel was just steps away from a supermarket.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel in a very quiet and clean area. The location was perfect, just two stops away from the city center, allowing us to easily explore all that the city has to offer. The staff were extremely friendly and understanding, always ready to assist with any issues we had. We also loved the neighborhood, it felt like a different city altogether. The metro station was just a few steps away from the hotel, yet we couldn't hear any noise at all. It truly provided a peaceful and comfortable environment.

Mind-blowing stay! Perfect for a family getaway. Separate room for the kids, amazing rainfall shower, comfy beds, delicious buffet breakfast, super helpful staff! Ideal location near metro station.

The location of Mercure was perfect, just two stops away from Amsterdam Centraal station. We were able to easily explore the city and enjoy the nearby restaurants and bars. Additionally, we loved being able to take a canal trip from the tour operators close to the station. The room itself was clean, cosy, and very comfortable, with a great shower. it was a quiet area away from the hustle and bustle of the city center.

While the staff at Mercure were generally nice, there was one lady at the reception in the morning who was quite rude. We also experienced a mix-up with our names upon arrival, which caused a delay in getting our room.

Nothing it was perfect.

The hotel's location is fantastic, with the metro station right next to it. It only takes less than 10 minutes to reach the city center. The rooms are clean, well-equipped, and the beds are comfortable. The bathroom is stunning, with a rainfall shower head that provides a luxurious experience. The staff is helpful and provides excellent service. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of options, including pastries, pancakes, cold meats, cheeses. The hotel also offers the convenience of a pit stop shop and a bar with a stylish design.

The air conditioning unit was a bit confusing to use, and it could get too warm in the room.

While the majority of the staff were friendly and helpful, there was one incident with a rude staff member during my stay. Additionally, there were no water bottles provided in the room, and the lack of a phone in the room made it inconvenient to contact the reception for assistance.
