I recently stayed at Van Der Valk Hotel Assen for a 3-5 night work trip. The superior room and en-suite were incredibly spacious and furnished with modern luxury. The restaurant served delicious food, and the service throughout my stay was excellent. The rooms were particularly noteworthy, with contemporary designs and well-appointed bathrooms featuring large bathtubs and rain showers. The hotel even provided ample bathroom supplies. Additionally, the hotel's location next to a huge park made it perfect for taking walks or going for a run. The option to rent city bikes also made exploring Assen a breeze.

Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The value for money at this hotel was incredible, with a luxury room that exceeded my expectations. The staff treated me exceptionally well and the location was convenient.

The morning meal could be improved with a wider variety of vegetarian options.

The hotel is conveniently located just on the outskirts of town, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. A highlight of the hotel is the restaurant, which offers a wide variety of delicious dishes. Another plus is that the hotel is situated next to a nice park, perfect for a leisurely stroll. Additionally, the option to park on the roof area, although with cameras, provides a sense of security.

One downside is that the room we stayed in had a view of a wall, which was quite unpleasant.

I recently stayed at a luxurious 4-star hotel in a quiet area with a forest nearby. The room I booked, a junior suite, exceeded my expectations with its spaciousness and beautiful bathroom. I was pleasantly surprised to find coffee/tea making facilities in the room, which added to my comfort. The hotel also had a nice terrace in most rooms, where I could relax and enjoy the surroundings.

I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

We had an amazing weekend getaway at Van Der Valk Hotel. Our Comfort Deluxe room was fantastic, with a whirlpool bathtub and a rain shower. The bed was incredibly comfortable, guaranteeing a good night's sleep. We also enjoyed drinks and snacks on the bar/cafe terrasse, which was surprisingly peaceful despite facing the highway.

The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas and offered a warm welcome upon arrival. The breakfast was diverse with many options including freshly squeezed juice and pastries. Free parking was also a plus, and the spa and gym had state-of-the-art facilities.

The rooms were not cleaned during our stay, with only fresh towels provided. When asking at the reception, staff was not very helpful.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely superb. The staff were incredibly pleasant and helpful, ensuring that we had a wonderful experience. The rooms were impressive and spotless, with a luxurious feel. We were even given an upgrade to a "Wellness Suite" which had a sauna, steam shower, and jacuzzi bath - it was truly fabulous. The breakfast buffet was extensive, offering a wide choice of options including English and French breakfast, fresh fruit, cereals, and fresh juices. The staff were friendly and always ready to assist with any needs. we highly recommend this hotel for a fantastic stay.
