I recently stayed at El Pital Chocolate Paradise for one night and it exceeded all my expectations. The location is perfect, with easy access to the lake and breathtaking sunset views. The dorm was clean and comfortable, and surrounded by lush vegetation. The staff was polite and always had a smile on their face, making me feel welcome. The highlight for me was definitely the food, which was some of the best I've ever had. The chocolate here is a must-try and is made with so much love. Thank you El Pital for a magical experience!

The vibes at El Pital are amazing, with a beautiful lake view and a relaxed atmosphere. The staff is friendly and helpful, even going above and beyond to assist with accidents. The breakfast and smoothies at the cacao bar are delicious, made with fresh ingredients from their garden. The cacao tour and ceremony are life-changing experiences. The garden is full of biodiversity, with fruit, herbs, cacao, and flowers. The compostable toilet is eco-friendly. Waking up to the sight of squirrels, monkeys, and birds is a treat. The comfortable living room and stunning views of the volcano add to the overall experience. It's also conveniently close to El Zopilote for Pizza Night and hiking opportunities.

During our recent stay at El Pital, Chocolate Paradise, we were absolutely enchanted by the idyllic setting. Nestled amidst the lush jungle and overlooking the sparkling lake, it truly felt like paradise. The hut we stayed in had breathtaking views on both sides - one facing the lake and the other the jungle. We loved waking up to the sounds of birds and monkeys and falling asleep to the soothing sound of the waves. The tranquility and natural beauty of the surroundings were simply magical.

Although there were a few minor drawbacks, such as the dampness in the rooms and the limited food options, they did not diminish our overall experience. El Pital, Chocolate Paradise may not have all the amenities of a typical hotel, but it definitely offers a unique and tranquil atmosphere where you can relax and connect with nature.

I recently stayed at El Pital in Balgue for a week-long vacation. The hotel's location by the water is absolutely stunning, and I loved being able to relax on the terrace and even swim in the lake. The staff at El Pital were incredibly helpful and friendly, especially Angel who assisted us with scooter rental. The breakfast options were delicious, and I highly recommend trying their chocolate superpower smoothie. The overall atmosphere of the hotel is casual and laidback, making for a truly relaxing stay.
