Enjoyed the lovely cabin and spacious surroundings, with fantastic staff and convenient access to Burnt Pine shops, especially the morning bakery. the worn amenities and frustrating car rental experience dampened things a bit, especially with minimal support after hours. a memorable experience despite some hiccups.

the spacious cabins were surrounded by beautiful scenery, providing a peaceful atmosphere. the staff were attentive and friendly, ensuring a pleasant experience. We particularly enjoyed the open-air dinner experience on the fourth night, a unique inclusion in our travel package. the marquee setup was a cool touch, especially given the cooler weather. the well-designed cabins offered a comfortable retreat, with updated facilities and a homely cabin style that we appreciated.

The lack of prompt response to maintenance issues after 5:30 pm was a downside.

The location was perfect, just a quick walk to the shops, especially that awesome bakery for my brekky supplies. the tours were top, notch, from the historical walks to the fun Progressive dinner , never a dull moment there. the only hair, puller was trying to get a car online, total mess, but managed to snag a good deal onsite. had a blast and would definitely go back! 🌟.

the orientation tour was a highlight, and walking to the nearby bakery for breakfast was a treat. the restaurant hours were confusing, and we had some issues with the TV. I'd recommend this hotel.

During my recent business trip to Burnt Pine, I had the pleasure of staying at Governors Lodge Resort, a property chosen by my director. the spacious cabin-style accommodation amidst lovely surroundings instantly captured my heart. the staff were absolutely fabulous, adding a warm and welcoming touch to my stay. Walking distance to the Burnt Pine shops, especially the Mall bakery in the mornings, made it convenient for me to grab some essentials for my stay. Although my overall experience was delightful, one minor issue I encountered was with the worn and aged contents in the room. the TV not functioning properly for nighttime entertainment highlighted the need for some updates, and the lack of after-hours support for maintenance could be improved. the tranquil setting and exceptional service made it a memorable experience despite these minor shortcomings.

I indulged in local dish delight at the restaurant, then relaxed in my cozy cabin with a TV offering infinite channels. The lodge had me at first sight with its charming garden and library. Cons: Trying to hire a car was as easy as juggling flaming swords blindfolded.

The Governor's Lodge Resort Hotel in Burnt Pine was an excellent choice for our family stay with our 4-month-old baby. We enjoyed the proximity to Burnt Pine shops and the delicious breakfast at the Mall bakery. the spacious cabin-style property and lovely surroundings made our stay relaxing, and the staff were all fabulous. the free Orientation tour by Pinetrees was a noteworthy experience, and we particularly enjoyed the Colleen McCullough home tour and Kingston convict walk. the hotel's library and garden area provided a serene space for relaxation, and nearby landmarks like Queen Victoria's Garden and the Bounty Folk Museum added to our family bonding experience. the confusing restaurant hours and closures were a slight inconvenience, and the difficulties in online car hire were frustrating. Despite these minor issues, our overall stay was enjoyable and memorable.
