There's honestly nothing good I can say about this hotel. The only positive thing was the breathtaking view of the Sognefjord from the bedroom. However, that didn't make up for the dirty room, underwhelming breakfast, and overall creepy atmosphere. I would never stay here again, nor would I recommend it to anyone else.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, even packing breakfast sandwiches for me to take on the go when I had to check out early for the ferry. The hotel's proximity to the ferry pier in Balestrand made it convenient for transportation, and I easily reached the hotel by bus from the ferry station in just 10 minutes.

The double comfort room in the adjacent building was perfect, with comfortable adjustable beds and a generous sitting area. The food at the hotel's dining room was delicious, fresh, and included local fruits. The service was excellent and the staff made us feel very comfortable. Additionally, the location was great for day trips and the car ferry from Vangsness was easy to take. a highly recommended retreat in a beautiful area.
