I couldn't have asked for a more relaxing and beautiful getaway. The van was waiting for me at the dock when I arrived by ferry, making my check-in seamless. And let me tell you, the views of the mountains and fjord from my room were absolutely breathtaking. Not to mention, the hotel was conveniently located close to town, the port, a nature walk, and the coast. The breakfast spread was fresh and plentiful, and I enjoyed every bite while taking in the unequaled view from the breakfast room. Being surrounded by such tranquility, far from the madding crowd, was truly a treat.

Even though my stay was amazing, I do wish I had planned for at least another day here. There's just so much to explore and enjoy in this picturesque location.

Midtnes Hotel is ideally located close to everything but away from the crowds. It is a short walk to a beautiful 19th century wooden church which is a must-see, and the coast is just a stone's throw away. The hotel provides convenient transportation to the boat stop. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with large windows and balconies that offer stunning mountain views. The staff is attentive and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay. The breakfast is excellent, with a variety of options including fish and non-fishy dishes. there is a nearby shop for any necessary supplies.

The location was perfect, as it was really near the harbor and within easy walking distance to the few restaurants in town. Additionally, it was easy to walk to the hiking trails and back to the ferry. The hotel facilities were great, with charming sitting areas and cozy lounge spaces that were inviting. The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating, with the owner even recommending a wonderful restaurant for me to try. Lastly, the breakfast was fantastic, with a good spread that included local specialties like salmon and shrimp.

The breathtaking Fjord views from our room were absolutely stunning, and the tranquility of the surroundings was refreshing. The breakfast, served in a lovely room overlooking the fjord, was beautifully prepared and presented. The hotel's vintage style sitting rooms and terrace provided the perfect spaces for relaxation and contemplation. A visit to the nearby St.Olaf church is a must. A truly unforgettable experience.

As travelers by car, we loved the convenience of the hotel's location, with easy access to hiking trails and local amenities.
