Great location, stunning views, comfy rooms, friendly staff, delicious food, calm atmosphere.

On our recent stay at Arctic Hotel Tromso, we were pleasantly surprised by the stunning views of the northern lights right from our room. The simplicity of the rooms allowed us to fully appreciate the awe-inspiring natural phenomenon. The location was also perfect for catching the ferry to Senja the next morning. The breakfast spread, including real orange juice, was delicious and satisfying. Checking in before 3 pm at no extra cost was an added convenience.

We recently had an excellent stay at this 4-star hotel on this amazing island. The location in the centre of the island allowed us to take leisurely walks along the shores and admire the stunning nature surrounding us. The hotel staff were very welcoming and provided us with a welcome drink upon arrival. They also offered tours and ticket assistance, which made it easy for us to explore the area. The room amenities were top-notch, with heating, a sitting area, and a terrace where we could relax and enjoy the view. The staff during dinner were attentive and provided us with excellent service. The restaurant had a wide variety of options, including special diet menus, and the food was delicious. The leisure facilities, such as the sauna and beach access, added to our overall enjoyment of our stay. The staff also provided us with picnic tables, which allowed us to have meals outside and make the most of the beautiful surroundings.

The breakfast was excellent with a wide range of options. the hotel had a great location with beautiful views and was perfect for viewing the Northern Lights. the staff were really friendly and helpful with suggestions for viewing the lights and local life. the sauna and hot tub were a great experience to enjoy in the middle of a blizzard. the hotel had a separate, heated viewing room with a glass ceiling that was ideal for star-gazing, and the surrounding area had beautiful beaches.

The cleanliness of the tables outside could be improved as some were left uncleaned for several days. the balconies were all open to the next-door ones, which made it unsafe to leave them open at night for security reasons.

Located in a stunning setting overlooking the Norwegian Sea, this modern hotel offers great amenities, helpful staff, and excellent customer service. With three levels and various room sizes, there are also additional cabins for larger groups. The buffet breakfast is outstanding, and the restaurant serves delicious food. A rental car is recommended to explore the area, but the hour-long drive from Tromsø is well worth it for the amazing scenery.

Sommaroy Arctic Hotel is a lovely spot to get away from it all. The hotel is located in the picturesque coastal arctic scenery, offering beautiful views of the sea, harbor, and Arctic Ocean. The rooms are comfortable and beds are very comfortable. The hotel has a nice restaurant and a lounge area with coffee available all day. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed.

The food choices in the restaurant can be limited and quite expensive.

The hotel's location is fantastic, with a view of the sea and the opportunity to take walks along the shores. You can fully immerse yourself in nature and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated, with comfortable beds. The staff is helpful and friendly, providing excellent service. The breakfast offered is delicious and satisfying, providing a good start to the day.

Some minor improvements could be made, such as providing small plates or bowls in the rooms for snacks, and a Bluetooth speaker to create a more enjoyable ambiance.

We had a fantastic time at this hotel on a small remote Arctic island with a population of 319 people. The location was breathtaking, with beautiful shores to walk along and explore. The restaurant served delicious food, and the service during dinner was excellent. The amenities in the room were top-notch, including a comfortable bed, a great view from the balcony, and a spacious bathroom. We also enjoyed the leisure facilities, such as the sauna and the beach access. our stay here was amazing and we highly recommend it to families.

I had an amazing time staying at Sommaroy Arctic Hotel Tromso. The stunning sea views made it the perfect location for Aurora hunting, even with city lights. The well-equipped apartment and comfy beds added to the overall comfort of my stay. The staff were incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to provide great advice on hiking and even preparing a salad for me after the kitchen had closed. The hotel itself had a charming atmosphere, with spacious and well-maintained public areas. The delicious breakfast buffet was a highlight, and the location near white sand beaches and secret bays added to the overall appeal. Highly recommended for a few days' stay.
