Located right by the local shops and on the harbour, this hotel offers easy access to the Hurtingruten cruise ship. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with necessary amenities. The breakfast buffet is top-notch with a varied selection of high-quality food. The staff is friendly and efficient, providing excellent service. Guests can also enjoy beautiful views from the dining area. the hotel offers a shuttle bus to the ship for convenience.

The restaurant at the hotel seems to be overpriced and overrated, with inconsistent service.

We had an amazing experience at Thon Hotel. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The location of the hotel provided a beautiful view of the water, and our room was spacious and well-maintained. We were particularly impressed with Helena, who provided excellent service and assistance throughout our stay. The breakfast was delicious, and the seafront restaurant offered an impressive menu of local produce and great seafood. Despite a minor issue with the dining room manager during dinner, overall, we found the hotel to be a convenient and comfortable choice in Kirkenes, especially considering the limited options available in the area. The hotel's proximity to the main attractions and transportation points was a big plus. We also appreciated the helpfulness of the desk staff and the easy access to the town center. Despite a few minor issues, we highly recommend Thon Hotel for a memorable and enjoyable stay in Kirkenes. we were delighted with our experience.

We had a fantastic stay at this luxurious hotel. The location on the waterfront was absolutely breathtaking, with stunning views of the sea. The room was spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable, and we felt like we were sleeping on a cloud. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, making us feel right at home. The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. We also appreciated the complimentary hot chocolate available all day. the quality of service and the level of comfort provided at this hotel exceeded our expectations.
