This hotel was a pleasant surprise during my recent stay in Oamaru. the staff at the reception were super friendly and made me feel right at home. the room was spacious and clean with all the facilities I needed for a comfortable stay. I appreciated the modern bathroom and the separate kitchen area where I could easily whip up a basic meal. the location is superb, close to the historic area and within walking distance to Ocean. the outdoor dining area was a lovely spot to enjoy my morning coffee.

One small improvement that could be made at this hotel is adding an internal curtain for the front glass doors of the unit to provide more privacy. the issue with receiving expired milk, even though it was still usable, was a bit concerning.

During our New Year's stay, we were impressed with the warm welcome we received from the staff. the location was perfect as it was conveniently situated near local attractions and restaurants. the spotlessly cleaned room was equipped with fresh milk for tea and coffee, making our stay even more enjoyable. We also appreciated the helpful information provided by the staff about the local penguin sightings.

Although the bed was comfortable, it was a bit too soft for our liking. the warning siren went off a few times, which made us a bit uneasy.

I loved the spaciousness of the 2 bedroom house and the well-equipped kitchen. The private playground was a hit with the kids and the location was perfect, close to shops and restaurants. The friendly host made the stay even better. highly recommended!

The location of the hotel was great, with plenty of eateries nearby and close to the center of town. the double glazing ensured a peaceful night's sleep despite being located on a main highway. The friendly and helpful manager provided good advice on where to eat.

The unit we stayed in could benefit from some refurbishment to improve its overall appearance. The decor was not up to par, scoring only a 2 out of 5.
