Our stay at the waterfront motel was absolutely delightful. The location was fantastic, with stunning waterfront views from our room. The room itself was spacious and well-appointed, with a separate bedroom and living area. We especially appreciated the modern bathroom and well-equipped kitchen. The motel also had laundry facilities, which was a convenient bonus. The staff were friendly and always ready to help. The motel's central location made it easy for us to explore the area on foot, with restaurants, shops, and the main center within walking distance. we had a wonderful and relaxing time at the Akaroa Waterfront Motels.

Regarding the cons mentioned in the database, we did notice that the gardens outside the motel were a bit overgrown and in need of maintenance. Additionally, the coffee provided in the room was quite strong for our taste, and we had to ask for extra sugar the next morning.

We had a fantastic stay at Waterfront Motels. The location was perfect, with great cafes and a pub right on our doorstep. It was only a short 10-minute walk to the wharf, which was very convenient. The motel provided us with plenty of entertainment options, including garden chess, pool, and cards. However, the highlight of our stay was definitely the Oceanview room we opted for. The view was absolutely spectacular, whether it was enjoying a morning coffee or watching the sunset. The room had excellent heating and well-equipped kitchen facilities. We will definitely recommend this place and cannot wait to return.

As a solo female traveler, I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The location of this motel is ideal, with breathtaking views of the ocean and a picturesque stream. I loved being so close to the water's edge, where I could relax and enjoy the tranquility. The village itself is a hidden gem, offering a variety of local eateries within easy walking distance. From cozy cafes to delightful restaurants, there is something to suit every taste.

While the overall experience at this motel was outstanding, I did notice that some areas of the upholstery in the living room appeared tired and not perfectly clean.

I had the most amazing waterfront view from my second floor suite at Waterfront Motels. Watching the sea birds and enjoying the peaceful location was a true delight. The suite was clean and comfortable, and the kitchenette was well-provisioned. The motel also offered great entertainment options like pool table and table tennis. I highly recommend this motel for a wonderful stay.

This hotel is situated right on the waterfront in the charming town, and offers stunning views over the bay. The service from the staff is excellent, and the rooms are clean, comfortable and well equipped with all facilities, including a well-supplied kitchen. The beds are especially comfy, ensuring a good night's sleep. It's also great that breakfast is offered, making for a convenient start to the day.

Had a wonderful Christmas stay at a motel in a small town by the sea. Loved the friendly and helpful staff who gave us two complimentary bottles of water, and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable, even helping us with our luggage. The location was perfect, right by the sea with a stunning view of the harbour from our spacious and clean room. We enjoyed the peaceful and relaxed atmosphere of the town, and the town's natural beauty that added to the charm.

The pillows were a bit old and uncomfortable, one was rock hard and the other was lumpy and hard to rest our heads on. The sheets were also a bit stiff and scratchy.

Great location close to the sea and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Very helpful and friendly staff, one of the best hosts we encountered in our 43-day trip in NZ. The rooms were spacious and had good wifi connection. The motel had laundry facilities on-site, which was very useful.

The first room we stayed in had a bad food smell, but the staff quickly sorted it out with an air freshener. The carpets were a bit worn and dated.
