We stayed at Cedar Lodge for one night and it was a fantastic experience. The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming, even walking us to our room and showing us around. The unit was spotlessly clean and well-maintained, with a beautiful full kitchen and a cozy lazy boy in the lounge. The location was great, with easy access to the town center. The bathroom and rooms were clean and tidy, and the reception staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon.

This hotel is an excellent choice for those passing through or wanting a central and convenient location in Timaru. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with all the necessary facilities for cooking. The staff is polite and helpful, providing a warm welcome on arrival and departure. Additionally, the hotel's attention to detail is superb, with immaculate rooms and the cleanest windows I have ever seen. The quiet location at the back of the hotel overlooking a lovely garden ensures a peaceful stay, especially for families with young children.

Shower in some rooms was a bit cramped but had good water pressure.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The owners were lovely right from the beginning and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The unit we stayed in was spotless and had everything we needed. The full kitchen was amazing and we especially loved the lazy boy in the lounge. The hotel's location was great, close to everything in the town center and near the Botanical Gardens. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with reliable wifi and comfortable lounge chairs. we were very impressed with the cleanliness, facilities, location, and staff of this hotel.

Nothing that we didn't like.

As a light sleeper, I was pleased with the quietness and privacy of my room at Cedar Lodge. The beautiful garden view from my room made for a peaceful retreat. The luxurious bed ensured a comfortable and restful sleep. The kitchen facilities were well-equipped, allowing me to prepare my own meals. The reliable wifi connection made it easy for me to continue operating my business remotely. The daily cleaning service was flawless, maintaining a tidy and comfortable environment throughout my stay. The staff respected my needs during a difficult time, showing great sensitivity and support.

We had a pleasant stay in comfortable, spotlessly clean rooms at a motel in a great location. The shower had good water pressure, and the staff were polite and helpful. Although the shower was a bit cramped, the water pressure made up for it. We also received a very warm welcome upon arrival and a friendly greeting when we checked out. Our separate bedroom and sitting room were exactly what we expected. Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as a creaky sofa bed and outdated shower, the overall experience was superb. We enjoyed the nice location, close proximity to the town center, and the cleanliness and tidiness of the bathroom and rooms. The kitchen had all the basic amenities we needed. The person at the reception was friendly and helpful. We hope to return in the future to explore more of the area. I highly recommend this hotel.
