I had a late last minute stopover at Grafton Chalets and it was perfect. The facilities were great, the views were beautiful, and I even got a free upgrade. I enjoyed relaxing in the jacuzzi before enjoying a late night cream liquor. It was definitely well worth the stopover!

I was amazed by the warm welcome I received at Grafton Cottage & Chalets. The owners made me feel like I was returning to old friends. The room was spotless and the homemade cookies were a delightful touch. They even went above and beyond to provide a shovel for our trip to the hot water beach. I would love to return and stay longer in this wonderful home away from home. I highly recommend this hotel.

We were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome we received at Grafton Cottage & Chalets. Even though we had booked a small room, when we saw the fabulous view from our room, we decided to keep it. The room might have been small, but it was cozy and had everything we needed, including a kitchenette. The breakfast delivered in the morning was delicious and had a great variety of options. The owners were friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The cleanliness of the rooms was impressive, and the wooden chalets gave them a quirky and cozy feel. From my room, I could enjoy a tranquil view of the Thames estuary, which was absolutely breathtaking. The hotel facilities were top-notch, and the included breakfast served in my room was a convenient and delicious perk. The staff, especially Barbara at the reception, were extremely helpful and went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. Additionally, the location of this hotel, perched on top of a hill, provided stunning views of the Thames and the sea. It was also conveniently close to everything and the CanyonNZ activity.

The room was clean and well-appointed, with a comfortable bed and beautiful views of the surrounding area. the owners were friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home during our stay. the location was great, providing a peaceful and relaxing environment away from the busy city.

The maintenance of the property needs improvement, with worn out decking and pathways that are hazardous, especially if you have young children. the pool area was not properly secured, posing a potential danger for children.

Grafton Cottage & Chalets provides a convenient location for exploring the Coromandel Peninsula, with plenty of activities nearby such as the CanyonNZ. The chalets offer a lovely outdoor space with a patio and grassed area, providing a perfect spot to enjoy the views over the Firth of Thames. The rooms are modern and well-appointed, with amenities like a kitchenette and fridge. Guests can also enjoy breakfast on a self-serve basis, adding to the convenience and flexibility of their stay.

The kitchen area in the chalets lacks sufficient work surface, which may be inconvenient for those who plan on preparing meals during their stay.

Great views, perfect location for the area. Friendly hosts, welcomed with a drink and shortbread. Upgraded for both nights and allowed late checkout. Highly recommend staying here.

We had an incredible stay at this hotel. The chalet had a beautiful view of the town, with a perfect sunset over the water. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious and modern, with a small garden patio for our dog. The hotel had excellent facilities, including a plunge pool, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We also enjoyed the convenience of having breakfast delivered to our chalet at our specified time.

We had a fantastic stay at a budget-friendly accommodation with great hosts who made us feel valued and very welcome. The location offered amazing sea views, and our chalet had a nice view from the room. The property had a beautiful garden, excellent facilities including a plunge pool, and our large bedroom and bathroom were modern and well-maintained.

The blinds in the room were broken and the toilet paper holder and towel rails were falling off the walls.

The complementary breakfast and pool access were great bonuses during our Xmas stay. the location provided fantastic views of the surrounding area and was very peaceful.

The room was quite warm due to the lack of air conditioning. the steep, narrow road leading to the property was a bit nerve-wracking to navigate.
