The place is okay. Central location. Got upgraded due to room issue. Room small. Noise from van. Laundromat handy. Glow worms cool. Staff nice. Toiletries good. Breakfast fine. Pub across street better for food. Rainy unload not fun. Would stay again if in different room. .

Upon arrival, we were provided with valuable advice on the best time and location to view the glacier, which made our experience unforgettable. The exceptional customer service continued when we accidentally left our raincoats behind. The staff, especially Umesh, went out of their way to ensure the raincoats were promptly sent back to us in Australia. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. The restaurant and bar offered delicious meals and drinks. We highly recommend Heartland Hotel for a memorable and enjoyable stay.

This hotel pleasantly surprised me! the rooms were newly refurbished and had a very tasteful decor. The attention to detail was evident, with a fridge provided in the room. The hotel is located in the centre of the village, making it convenient for exploring. Additionally, the staff were friendly and accommodating, making our stay enjoyable.

The location of the hotel is excellent, being close to cafes and restaurants in the center of town. It is also conveniently situated on both islands of NZ, making it a great base for exploring. The rooms were comfortable, and the staff on greeting and exit were friendly and professional. Parking on site was also available.

I had a fantastic stay here! The location was perfect, right next to the Fox Glacier Guides and close to the Minnehaha walk. It was also just a quick drive to Lake Matheson and the Fox Glacier walk. The hotel facilities were very tidy and clean, and the room had a great size with an excellent shower. The staff was very pleasant to deal with and made my stay even more enjoyable. I also loved that I could park close to my room and that they had charging options for my EV car. I highly recommend anyone to stay here!

Rooms were comfortable with clean and modern furnishings. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the food in the restaurant/bar was reasonably priced and tasty. Location is convenient for those going on heli tours or taking the bus, and within walking distance to attractions.

Noise levels were higher than expected, with sounds from neighboring rooms, reception, and kitchen. the hotel could use better soundproofing measures to improve the quality of sleep.

I recently stayed at Heartland Hotel in Fox Glacier for a weekend getaway. The staff were incredibly friendly, polite, and helpful, making my stay very pleasant. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, and I was impressed with the high-quality complimentary toiletries provided. The hotel restaurant exceeded my expectations with its delicious variety of food options. Additionally, the central location of the hotel allowed for easy exploration of the town.
