My partner and I recently stayed at the Distinction Heritage Gateway in Omarama for two nights and were thoroughly pleased. The hotel provided excellent bike storage, which was just what we needed for our outdoor adventures. The room itself was a pleasant surprise, as it was twice the size of a typical motel room and featured both a balcony and a separate exit door, allowing for a refreshing cross breeze. Another highlight was the presence of a bathtub, adding an extra touch of luxury to our stay. We opted not to have breakfast at the hotel, but the dinner options were outstanding. We were delighted with the choice of either a buffet or a menu meal, both of which exceeded our expectations. Moreover, the staff went above and beyond when we required a bottle opener for our beers and when my husband's steak wasn't cooked to his liking. The spacious room with air conditioning and ample parking made our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel's ideal location for visiting Mt Cook and Lake Tekapo was the cherry on top. we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this hotel!

During my Thanksgiving stay, I appreciated the spacious room offered by this motel. The room included a generous amount of space which allowed me to move freely. , the location was perfect, it was in a quiet area which provided a peaceful night's sleep. conveniently located was a shop, which was within walking distance and perfect for grabbing snacks.

I was disappointed by the limited dining choices offered at the motel. The menu was uninspiring, and the food was average.

I had a very pleasant evening meal at the hotel's restaurant. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was plentiful, tasty, and well-cooked. I particularly recommend the Roast Lamb Carvery. I would recommend this hotel for a satisfying dining experience.

Comfortable two bedroom unit provided after initial modest room. Excellent meal with touring group. Decent breakfast and friendly staff. Convenient location within walking distance to town. Appreciated separate facecloth for makeup.

This hotel provides good value for money. The prices are reasonable and the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with separate shower and toilet. I especially liked the view from the balcony, which overlooked the mountains. It was also convenient to have a restaurant on-site and the buffet breakfast had excellent choices.

The location of the hotel was excellent, with cafes for breakfast just down the road. The staff were fantastic, friendly and accommodating. The bar staff were particularly amazing. The hotel was also conveniently close to shops, making it easy to buy any necessities.

From start to finish, Natalie was a helpful and welcoming host. Parking right in front of our warm and lovely room was convenient. The breakfast was great and the staff went above and beyond to assist us.
