Staying at this hotel was an absolute pleasure! the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making our unexpected stay a breeze. We were pleasantly surprised when they upgraded us to a spacious 2-bedroom apartment with laundry facilities, which was a game-changer for us as we were travelling on motorbikes. the location couldn't have been better - right in the heart of town and within walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go. the room was equipped with all the amenities we needed, from air conditioning in every room to a well-equipped kitchen and a luxurious bathroom with a shower and bath. the fancy tea they provided was a nice touch, and the check-out time at 11am was much appreciated!

If I had to nitpick, I would say that the name 'Hidden Lake' might be a tad misleading as there wasn't a clear view of any nearby lakes from the hotel. Maybe some rooms could offer a glimpse of the hidden lake to match the name better.

My stay at Hidden Lake Hotel & Apartments in Cambridge was mostly pleasant. the rooms were comfortable and clean, staff friendly. Enjoyed the amenities. a bike storage issue was resolved questionably. Despite that, the overall experience was enjoyable and convenient.

we had the best time at hidden lake hotel & apartments. we enjoyed bike storage for our waikato bike trails adventure. dinner and breakfast were delightful, and the hot spa was a perfect way to unwind. the room was comfortable with a lovely view of trees, and the staff were warm and friendly. the antipodes bathroom amenities were a nice touch.

The lakeside location was beautiful, and the modern rooms were clean and comfortable. The cooked breakfast was delicious. While parking and minimalist room decor were drawbacks, the friendly staff and great value for money made up for it. Some improvements with breakfast organization are needed.

An absolutely mind-blowing stay! the room was super clean and comfy with a fantastic heat pump. the staff were utterly jaw-dropping in their friendliness and assistance. the spa and breakfast were SUPERB!

As young people, we loved the comfortable room with 2 double beds and the convenience of the microwave and mini fridge. The small kitchenette and Nespresso coffee machine were a bonus for our travels with a baby. The location had plenty of food options and a beautiful nearby lake. The staff were accommodating and the small spa was a nice touch. The quality of the hand soap and lotion exceeded our expectations. The overall aesthetic of the room, including the paintings and furniture, was impressive. The hotel also provided bike storage, which was essential for our biking adventures on the Waikato Bike Trails. The dinner and breakfast options were lovely, and the hot spa was a perfect way to relax after a day of riding. The bathroom amenities, especially the Antipodes range, were a pleasant surprise.

We felt more than at home during our stay, with no complaints whatsoever.

The hotel doors were occasionally left unlocked, which could pose a security risk to guests, especially at night.

We had a fantastic stay here. The hotel is situated in a great location, near to many amenities and a short walk from the town center. We loved the peacefulness and cleanliness of the hotel and our room felt extremely comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the in-room breakfast was exceptional. The hotel had a great location, with lots of nearby amenities and a beautiful lake just a short walk away. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and we were impressed with the complementary washing powder and fabric softener provided in the guest laundry. We also appreciated the access to the local gym, which was available 24/7.

The meal took a long time to arrive and when it did, several items were missing or incorrectly prepared. the waiter seemed to be running back and forth frequently and we felt sorry for him.
