The kids loved kayaking at the private beach while we relaxed in the outdoor spa. The peaceful gardens were perfect for unwinding after our adventures exploring the stunning lakeviews. We also enjoyed a lovely breakfast that started our mornings off right.

My kids wished for a dedicated play area.

The location was stunning right in front of the lake with a beautifully equipped bedroom leading straight onto the lawn! It was spotless and super comfy—definitely made our stay memorable. The breakfast buffet was a treat!

Could not be improved in any way.

The private beach was fantastic for kayaking, and exploring it with my cousin and kids added to the fun. We also enjoyed the outdoor spa, which felt perfect after our day of adventures around Rotorua. The laid-back atmosphere was just what we needed.

The premium double room gave us a stunning view right over the lake, making our mornings extra special. We soaked in the jacuzzi while the sun began to set, feeling completely relaxed. The breakfast prepared for us was delightful and made our stay feel incredibly personalized!

During my recent two-night stay, the warm and cozy atmosphere was immediately welcoming, complemented by an incredible breakfast featuring delicious pasta options. The spacious premium suite overlooking the lake made for a breathtaking escape, but it would have been even better with some additional amenities like a bigger fridge or espresso machine in the common area. While the early check-in was a nice touch, a larger mosquito screen would enhance airflow for those warm nights. Overall, a pleasant experience, though a few improvements could elevate it further.

koura lodge offered a nice quiet location right on the lake, perfect for soaking up the sun. it's an easy drive to the city center, and the friendly staff made us feel welcomed. we loved the spa pool and sauna right by the water. The shared lounge with a fireplace had a fantastic view. kayaking on the lake was an unforgettable experience, too.

this place was super chill, right by the lake and sooo pretty! we loved kayakin on the water and the hot tub was the perfect way to unwind after a long day. breakfast was yum with tons of options, and the hosts were really nice and helpful with stuff to do around rotorua. the room was spacious and clean, felt comfy and cozy too! loved chillin in the gardens and just soaking up peace and quiet.

but, man, i wish they had air-conditioning cuz it got a bit stuffy at night. The laundry costs are kinda outrageous at $38 for wash and fold. also, the fan they had was hidden and we only found it after a while, felt like they could have better communication.
