I had a wonderful stay at Kowhai & Colonial Motel. The location was ideal, with easy access to town and nearby attractions. The cleanliness of the unit was impressive, and the kitchen had a new fridge which was a nice touch. The bed linen and furnishings were all of good quality. The managers were friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this motel for a comfortable and convenient stay.

This hotel offers great value for money with affordable prices and attention to detail. The location is perfect, opposite a charming park that provides a lovely backdrop. The staff are friendly and provide excellent service. The rooms are comfortable with king beds, providing a cozy and relaxing space to unwind. There are also three separate lounges, perfect for families and offering ample space for our needs. The breakfast provided was delicious and satisfying.

Everything was satisfactory and met our expectations.

The location of this motel is perfect - it is near to everything, close to the city centre, and right in the heart of Rotorua. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the fresh towels provided daily were a nice touch. The beds were extremely comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep.

The lack of a frying pan or decent size pot in the kitchen made it difficult to cook meals, leading us to eat out instead.

As a couple, we loved the clean and well-maintained pools, especially after a bad experience at another hotel. The friendly owner provided us with lots of helpful information, and we appreciated their commitment to reducing plastic waste. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the pillows were perfect. We'll definitely be back as this property exceeded our expectations.

Felt warm, nothing too much trouble.

Had an extraordinary Christmas in Rotorua! the best thing was finding a lovely motel with two delightful complimentary chocolates on the nightstand. It was located near the fantastic Saturday markets, which we enjoyed wandering around. the motel was far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the city that we could sleep peacefully at night and enjoy our stay in peace.

We did notice a few challenges while staying in the motel. the spa pool outside was not working when we stayed.

Very friendly staff, clean comfy beds, large unit, nice heated pool. Air conditioning in lounge, good beds in bedrooms. Short drive to town centre and attractions. Hotel location, mineral pool, warm pool.
