our honeymoon trip was made even more memorable by our stay at this charming castle. the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, the room was beautiful with a cozy bed, and the dinner in the castle was exceptional.

amazing views, excellent breakfast, peaceful atmosphere. Exceeded my expectations from my previous stay in Dunedin. Lovely to sit on the deck and take in the view. Access to grounds in the evening was a highlight. Highly recommend for a special occasion.

I recently stayed at the Larnach Lodge & Stable Stay for a couple of nights and it was truly unforgettable. Waking up in the castle grounds and enjoying breakfast in the ballroom with real open fires was a magical experience. The breakfast itself was the best I've ever had, with a great selection of cooked and continental options. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. The rooms were very comfortable and the facilities were top-notch. Additionally, the complementary access to the house and gardens was a wonderful bonus. this hotel offers great value and provides an excellent experience for any traveler.

The bed was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The hot water in the toilet was readily available, and the toiletries provided were sufficient. The highlight of my stay was the delicious breakfast, with a variety of choices including the Kiwi breakfast, which was absolutely amazing. The staff went above and beyond, calling me to ensure I didn't miss breakfast and leaving the breakfast counter open for me even after I finished.

Quirky room perfect for kids, beautiful location, fantastic service. Breakfast was huge with plenty of options. Loved the castle tour! The only minor drawbacks were the lack of hooks in the shower and the need for a table for the kettle. I highly recommend this hotel.

We had the most breathtaking views from our room at Larnach Lodge & Stable Stay. The sweeping vistas of the Otago Peninsula and Victoria Channel were truly mesmerizing. The beautiful formal gardens added to the charm of the mountaintop location. We felt like we were in a remote paradise, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The Lodge accommodation was comfortable and quaint, and the dining experience in the main castle was a delightful touch. The included breakfast offered a comprehensive selection, and the service at dinner was incredibly attentive. we highly recommend this unique and wonderful retreat.
