Located on a steep hill up from the city center, this hotel is reasonably close to Wellington central for bars and restaurants. There are multiple restaurants on Cuba Street within walking distance. The hotel offers valet parking for an additional fee. The rooms are luxurious and well-appointed, with responsive and helpful staff. The breakfast is fabulous, with a wide selection of delicious food. Guests can also enjoy the stunning view of the city from their rooms.

Some guests have reported issues with room service, such as mixed-up orders and cold meals upon delivery.

During our stay at this hotel, we were treated to exceptional service from the moment we arrived. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The hotel is also situated in a prime location, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding area.

Although there were a couple of drawbacks, such as the occasional noise from neighboring guests and the inconvenience of having to walk up and down a steep cliff to get to the hotel, these were minor issues compared to the overall positive experience.

The staff were friendly and helpful when I had questions. I really appreciated being able to control the temperature in my room for maximum comfort. The hotel itself was beautifully decorated and my room was clean, quiet, and well-appointed. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable and the shower was fantastic. The location was also convenient, with many restaurants and attractions within walking distance, including the amazing Te Papa Museum. it was a wonderful stay!

The reception area was beautiful with lovely seating and a cozy fire. There were cookies and chocolate tea available for guests to enjoy. The free chocolate hour with a chocolate fountain, marshmallows, and fruit was amazing. The reception staff provided exceptional service and helpful suggestions.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is beautiful and inviting, even better in person. The executive suite was luxurious with useful plug options. The bed was surprisingly comfortable, relieving back pain. Highly recommended for couples. Conveniently located 5 minutes from the city center. The swimming pool was nice for two people. There's a "VIP" lift to solve the hill issue. The position allowed walking to popular places. Great view from the breakfast room and bar.

The complementary breakfast was nice and we appreciated the free Wi-Fi. the hotel was located in a convenient area, with plenty of restaurants nearby. the bed was comfortable and we enjoyed a good night's sleep.

The room had a few issues that let it down. the bathroom had not been cleaned thoroughly, and we found used towels left on the floor and an uncleaned basin.

The hotel's proximity to Victoria University was perfect for my trip, as it allowed me to easily visit my son. the staff were extremely helpful and accommodated my request for a separate room for my teenage daughter, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay for both of us.

Although it was easy to walk to local sights, it was a little removed from the CBD.
