As a woman traveling alone, loved the tastefully renovated room with comfortable bed, kitchenette, and great location within walking distance of attractions. Cons: Felt like chilling at home, super relaxing atmosphere, nothing too much trouble.

Milano Motor Lodge was a delightful choice for my short stay in Christchurch with my 5-year-old children. the newly renovated rooms were stylish and comfortable, the bathroom was clean and modern, and our hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed the garden area for relaxation, and the nearby landmarks like the Bridge of Remembrance and North Hagley Park provided a unique setting for family bonding.

I had a wonderful stay at a lovely motel with a big comfy bed and a spacious room. the shower had plenty of hot water and I appreciated the well-equipped kitchenette. the free Wi-Fi was a bonus and the motel's location was perfect, with easy access to buses and within walking distance of Merivale Mall. the staff, especially owner John, were very helpful. I found the motel to be excellent value for money and I will definitely stay there again in the future. I even enjoyed the little packet of biscuits with my breakfast tea!

escaping the city chaos, milano motor lodge exceeded expectations! greeted with goodies, warm welcome, and exceptional care from the lovely hosts. convenient location near restaurants and supermarket, off-street parking. comfortable king studio, meticulously clean and excellent service. will definitely return on future christchurch visits. cons: fluffier pillows would've been nice.

Our group loved the comfortable queen beds and clean rooms. The gardens were pretty and the hospitality was lovely. Great location near the park. Kitchen facilities allowed us to eat in. a very nice experience.

The Milano was a delightful surprise. The comfy bed, thoughtful touches like cheese and crackers, and great location near top restaurants made our stay memorable. The lack of blackout curtains was a minor inconvenience, but the overall comfort and friendliness of the staff more than made up for it.

Absolutely mind-blowing recently refurbished rooms with jaw-dropping attention to detail and style. Super comfortable beds, fabulous shower pressure, and peaceful atmosphere. Location is fantastic with easy walking access to Hagley Park, Mona Vale, mall, and supermarket. Friendly and accommodating staff, small table and chairs for in-room breakfast, thoughtful amenities like snacks, and exceptional disability access. Esmae, the new owner, went ABOVE AND BEYOND , making the stay truly unforgettable. Highly recommend this property for superb hospitality and comfort.

Location wise, it’s very near to the airport and the city center. the room was spacious, and the bed was comfortable. It was nice to have free parking available, too.

I recently stayed at a motor lodge in Christchurch and it was a fantastic experience. The location was ideal, being close to the hospital, city centre, and other amenities. The room was clean, modern, and spacious, with a comfortable bed and a well-appointed kitchenette. The friendly staff provided excellent service, and the free Wi-Fi was a great bonus. The little touches, like chocolates and biscuits, made my stay even more enjoyable. it was great value for money.

There was one small issue with the bathroom, as the extractor fan only worked randomly.
