Celebrating a birthday, we were delighted with a thoughtful gift of hand-picked roses and a superb restaurant recommendation from the friendly owners. Walking distance to cafes, cozy rooms with comfy beds and close to the snow resort. Perfect bed setup for us and the grandchildren. Spacious, quiet rooms equipped with everything needed for a pleasant stay.

The location of the motel is very convenient as it is a nice walk to the town center. It is surrounded by lovely spacious gardens which add to the overall atmosphere. The rooms are large and clean, with comfortable beds and modern amenities. The staff are friendly and considerate, offering a selection of DVDs to borrow for a rainy movie night.

The housekeeping service was underperforming, with bed sheets not being changed and the rooms not being tidied up during an 8-night stay.

We loved the fully-equipped kitchen with hot plates and a microwave, perfect for backpackers like us. The fridge and open shelving were also handy for storing our dry foods. The unit was impeccably clean, and the owners were friendly and accommodating. The motel's proximity to the new opuke spa pools was a bonus, especially for enjoying the beautiful evening sunsets.

The motel had such a chill vibe, located a bit off the main road which meant it was super peaceful. the rooms were massive, cozy, and had a kitchen that didn't make the whole place smell when you cooked - perfect! the bath areas were huge with an awesome separate shower, and there was zero noise from neighboring rooms, making it a top-notch stay. the staff was super welcoming and the Wi-Fi was on point 🌟. the only little thing was the toilet door didn't shut fully, but hey, the bathroom door did and that didn't spoil the fun at all!

Nothing, it is perfect.

Good location, nice atmosphere, and helpful staff. the beds were comfortable, and the electric blankets really helped us to stay warm during the cold nights. There's also a good amount of space in the rooms, making it easy to feel relaxed. it was great to be located so close to some important tourist spots.

We found that the lodging was very dirty, and housekeeping didn't feel like a priority. the sheets weren't changed during our entire stay, which we found quite unsatisfactory.
