I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The property manager was incredibly friendly and helpful, providing me with all the information I needed and giving great recommendations for my visit. The room was beautifully designed and decorated, and I absolutely loved the super clean and comfortable bed and pillows. Additionally, the free easy breakfast was a nice touch. The hotel also had a lovely edible vegetable garden where guests could pick fresh and delicious produce. The location couldn't have been better, as it was super close to the town center, penguin colony, beach, and city lookout.

Amazing location, just a short walk from the farmers' market and historic center. The view of the ocean from the hill is breathtaking, especially during sunrise. I loved waking up to this view with a cup of coffee in hand. The rooms were clean and had a homely touch. The beds were comfortable and provided a sense of privacy. The kitchen and living room had a great view of the town and sea. It was such a nice and cozy place to stay.

Although the free breakfast was provided, it was quite simple and standard. However, this is just a minor issue considering all the other amazing aspects of the hostel.

The kitchen and dining areas were spacious, perfect for cooking and dining as a group. The two lounges provided plenty of comfortable space to relax and unwind. The outlook from most rooms offered beautiful views. It was a pleasant surprise to find a supply of breakfast cereals, coffee, and tea. Additionally, there was an abundance of dinner and cookware available. The bed was comfortable and the heater and electric blanket were much appreciated during the cold weather. The location was convenient, with many restaurants within a ten-minute walk.

I stayed at this hostel in Oamaru for a few days and it was a highlight of my trip. The host, Karrie, was incredibly welcoming and responsive from the moment I booked. The hostel had a homestay vibe, with a clean kitchen and dining area that offered a beautiful ocean view. The common areas were spacious and there was even a board game room. The rooms were amazing, with an ocean view and comfortable bunk beds that provided a sense of privacy. The Victorian precinct and Penguin colony were just a short walk away. The hostel was also beautifully decorated with unique artwork, giving it a lovely atmosphere. a perfect hostel with great location, facilities, and friendly staff.

We were welcomed by such a sweet woman who answered all our questions and more. The place is decorated amazingly and the shared spaces are large and modern. The kitchen is very big and we loved having a herb/vege garden that could be used. The room was clean, quiet, and warm, meeting all of our requirements. The location was great for accessing the historical part of town and taking an evening walk to look for penguins. a fantastic stay.

Felt very cared for, no reason to complain.
