The hotel is conveniently located close to all amenities, including Takapuna beach, and within walking distance of the Ferry. Guests have mentioned the excellent sized suites with good kitchen facilities as well as the quiet rooms. The breakfast buffet menu offers a wide variety of choices and is well set out for easy access. the hotel offers free parking and a great view from the sea-facing rooms.

Some guests have reported that the gym is in need of maintenance.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The rooms were spacious with a separate lounge, bedroom, and bathroom. I loved having a little patio off the lounge to enjoy the view. The hotel is located at the end of a road, so it was incredibly quiet with no traffic noise at all. The notice reminding guests about no noise was a nice touch. The bed was incredibly comfortable with great sheets, and the blackout curtains worked perfectly. The kitchen had all the necessary amenities, making it easy to be self-catering. Additionally, the hotel is within walking distance of the Bayswater Ferry terminal, providing easy access to explore the area.

As foreign tourists, we loved the stunning views of Auckland CBD, the harbour bridge, and Bayswater Marina from our one-bedroom apartment. The balcony was a great spot to enjoy the scenery. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen and the convenience of a washer/dryer. The shower was excellent, and the fast wifi and free onsite parking were a bonus. The staff were polite, helpful, and provided a non-obtrusive service.

The hotel has a great location with amazing views of the harbor bridge and the sky tower. It was also a plus that the check-in process was easy and the staff were very helpful and attentive.

The hotel needs a renovation as its furniture and corridors looked quite aged. Another downside was the lack of nearby shops or eating places.

I had a great stay at Ocean Breeze! The location was perfect, with a beautiful view of the harbor. The full kitchenette in my room was a bonus, allowing me to prepare meals. The wifi was reliable, which was important for staying connected.

While there were a few minor issues, such as a missing sign due to the recent cyclone and some bird muck on the balcony, these did not significantly impact my overall experience.
