The property was impeccably clean, and the staff were incredibly kind and friendly. They even allowed our extra family members to stay with us while they waited for their ferry, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The kids were able to enjoy a swim in the meantime instead of being stuck in a hot car. The other guests were also friendly, and we had some lovely conversations with them. The toilets and showers were always clean and well-maintained. And to top it off, we had the best night's sleep we've ever had. It's just a shame we had to leave early for the morning ferry.

I recently stayed at a holiday park near the marina and it was the perfect spot to unwind. The cabin we rented had a private ensuite and was cozy and inviting. The camp ground had all the amenities we needed, including a kitchen and laundry facilities. The staff were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. We also enjoyed exploring the nearby playground and marina. I highly recommend this holiday park for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Quiet country atmosphere with no mosquitoes. Good hot showers and plenty of handbasins in the bathrooms.

I had a fantastic time at Picton's Waikawa Bay Holiday Park! The family room we stayed in, Rm. 15, was larger than expected and had a well-equipped kitchenette. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the spaciousness of the room was a pleasant surprise. We loved spending evenings on the front deck, enjoying some wine and cheese. The location was great, just a short drive from the ferry pier. I highly recommend this place for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

My recent stay at Waikawa Bay Holiday Park was absolutely delightful. The campsite is nestled in the middle of fields with breathtaking views of the sea and hills. The cabins were immaculately clean and surprisingly comfortable, making for a relaxing stay. I especially enjoyed the peaceful ambiance, waking up to the sweet sound of birds chirping in the surrounding trees. The location was also incredibly convenient, just a short 5-minute walk to a beautiful beach.

Although there were a couple of minor drawbacks, like the lack of crockery and cutlery in the cabins and the primitive wiring, these did not overshadow the overall positive experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing us with useful advice and even arranging a discount for a local dinner.

That's exactly what we got at Waikawa Bay Holiday Park. The Tourist flat we booked for $89.00 was compact but perfectly adequate and functional. The cleanliness throughout was impressive, and we found the flat to be very clean and tidy. The kitchen/dining room was spacious and had everything we needed to prepare meals. The bed was comfortable, and we both slept really well. We also appreciated the extra touches like the book with helpful tips from other visitors and the small carton of UHT milk in the fridge. Additionally, the staff went above and beyond when we accidentally left important documents behind and they were able to locate them for us. I would highly recommend staying at Waikawa Bay Holiday Park for its cleanliness, functionality, and friendly service.
