We had a fantastic stay at a cozy chalet with stunning views of Mt Ruapehu from our private deck. The spa pool was a perfect way to relax after a day of skiing, and the location was convenient for both outdoor activities and exploring the town. Great value for money!

We had an excellent stay at Rocky Mountain Chalets. The kitchen and lounge area were superb, making us feel right at home. It had everything we needed, from pots and pans to full cabinetry items. The whole place was clean and warm, with a heat pump and extra heater to keep us cozy. The extra blankets in all the rooms were a nice touch. The two-bedroom apartment was spacious and comfortable. We will definitely be coming back!

Clean and well-equipped with a warm welcome. No-contact check-in, strong shower pressure, and plenty of hot water. Sky TV, fridge, and freezer available. Washing machine and dryer, although the dryer had some issues. Private deck area a nice touch.

We got great value for our money at Rocky Mountain Chalets. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a cozy stay. For breakfast options, it would have been nice to have a bigger pan for cooking. Just a small detail, but having herbs instead of scrub bushes next to each chalet would have been awesome.

Close to town, cabins had everything we needed. Good size. Lovely furbished chalets for family of four plus others. Helpful staff and spa pool area well used. Bigger than expected chalet with hot tub. Off-season rental same price as nearby resorts. Comfy queen bed, washer/dryer. Covered parking for motorcycles.

The owners/managers were amazing and provided excellent service. The shower had great water pressure and hot water was endless. The chalet was super clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The location was key, close to Ohakune Township.

The heater in the bedroom was too small and made it cold, especially with a newborn. Milk for coffee was not provided, only a small UHT milk, which was unpalatable.

Het hotel ligt op een leuke locatie, midden in Arcen, met genoeg mogelijkheden om te dineren aan de oevers van de Maas. Daarnaast is de ligging ideaal voor wandel- en fietsliefhebbers. De kamers zijn ruim, zelfs op twee niveaus met de kinderen boven, en de basisvoorzieningen zijn aanwezig. Het ontbijt was boven verwachting en overtrof onze verwachtingen.

De kamers waren boven de zeer lawaaierige bar naast het hotel, die pas om 3 uur 's ochtends sloot, wat niet prettig was. Bovendien ontbrak een airconditioner en duurde het even voordat de kamers eindelijk waren opgewarmd na 24 uur.
