I had a fantastic stay at South Sea Hotel in a studio apartment with a kitchenette. The room was spacious and the floor coverings and linen were new, making it feel luxurious. The team, especially Sylvia at reception, were incredibly hardworking and friendly. The restaurant team was also outstanding, serving the most delicious food with a smile.

Lovely motel unit, comfortable and well-equipped. Clean rooms and fresh towels. Friendly staff and great meals. Excellent location for meeting locals and close to town.

We had an amazing stay at this lovely hotel in a brilliant location. the staff were friendly and helpful, and the room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. the hotel is conveniently located near the bar, museum, and bike hire, and there is a fantastic 4 Square shop nearby. If you're traveling with kids, it's best to book in advance and find accommodation with cooking facilities, as there aren't many food options on the island. a great experience!

I recently stayed at the South Sea Hotel on Stewart Island for a few nights. The location is unbeatable, right on the seafront. We were impressed with the abundance of towels and hot water in our spacious room, which had a really comfortable bed. The hotel has a charming, old-world feel and is a social hub for the island. The guest lounge offers breathtaking views over the bay and is a relaxing spot to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee. The local area information provided was also helpful for planning our activities.

I had an amazing stay at the South Sea Hotel - Stewart Island. The breakfast was fantastic, well-cooked and substantial. The hotel's location on the bay of a beautiful island made for a picturesque setting. Despite the decor being a little tired, the value for money was great. The hotel also had plenty of showers and toilets to compensate for the lack of en-suite facilities. Being right by the harbor, it was the perfect hub for exploring the village and enjoying the bar and excellent food. I highly recommend this hotel for a delightful and enjoyable trip.

I got excellent value for my money at the South Sea Hotel - Stewart Island. The room had so much charm and I felt right at home. The location was perfect, with the soothing sound of waves lulling me to sleep in my cozy bed. The staff treated me like royalty, going above and beyond to ensure my meals were exceptional.

The breakfast selection could use a little improvement, maybe adding more variety to the menu.
